What Are We Going To Do About The Wall Street Gangsters?

Starting with Clinton and through the Bush Administration , the Wall Street gangsters got all they wanted. The "For Sale" administrations repealed Depression-era security and banking laws and appointed Wall Street pirate captains to cabinet positions.

But Bear Stearns stock went from $170 to $10. And there are many other brokers and banking stocks on the same trajectory. So criminals with unbridled greed given free roaming access to other peoples money brings self-destruction faster than anyone could have imagined.

No one knows how all this chaos will play out. We all could end up in the streets fighting for our lives and property. If that happens I know who I will be looking for : members of Congress, lawyers and Wall Street operators.

Today a raged Palestinian construction worker in Jerusalem used a huge Caterpillar bucket- loader to ram a bus and many cars . The result was 3 Israeli deaths and 40 injured.

When former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was the Minister of Building in a former government his nickname was " The Bulldozer". It's because he gave orders to bulldoze Palestinian homes and olive groves in making way for illegal Israeli settlements.

Meanwhile our Congress is being given checks by AIPAC ( American Israel public Affairs Committee ) to pass House Concurrent Resolution #362 and Senate Resolution # 580. Both bills "demand" the president to blockade Iran. I kid you not. The House Bill has 222 co-sponsors and the Senate has 19. A blockade is an act of war. The war would be on behalf of the Zionist state. I ask you . What has Israel ever done for the U.S.?

Americans are lazy and cowardly about the Israeli influence in our congress. But I suspect that if paychecks get smaller and workers are thrown off their jobs because of hard times brought on by any reason then American attitudes towards foreigners will change. History documents just such an event in pre-war Germany. It was called " Kristolnacht".

Bear Market & Recession Blues? Cheer Up

Wall Street is flirting with a bear market which would confirm a U.S. recession . Gee, what's a recession look like in a country that consumes 25% of the worlds output with only 4% of the planets population? What's more the U.S. consumer has to borrow significant amounts of money from foreigners, banks and credit cards to continue this unsustainable lifestyle fact.

All this consumption is on top of a bloated and wasteful U.S. "defense" budget whose total is greater than all of the rest of the worlds defense budgets combined. This nonsense allows the U.S. to enter into wars of choice like the five-front engagements we are currently involved-Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Somalia and Pakistan. The C.I.A. has a long list of other wars we can enter if it happens that these five get resolved. The C.I.A. is evil incarnate.

A recession will certainly focus the wastrels in congress to more carefully weigh their spending priorities. That would be a good thing if war is shortchanged and peace becomes a better investment for scarce tax revenues.

The human species needs a recession to better acquaint itself with its own limitations and the limits of the earth. Look at the rest of the flora and fauna, they have been in a bear market since we showed up.

Bill Gates : Hung Up On Redundant Humans

Bill Gates retires today at age 52. He's one of the wealthiest at app. $52 billion. He plans to spend the rest of his life giving away the money that he spent the first part of his life accumulating. I wonder. When did it occur to him that making money as a goal was not all it was cracked up to be? He's joined in his philanthropic plans by the worlds richest-Warren Buffett. Like Bill, he is giving all his money away and will use Bill's personal foundation as the executor. Presumably Warren has second thoughts about wealth as a goal .But he is somewhat suspect. Because at 78 of years age, he is running up against the "can't take it with you" proverb.

How and where is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation going to spend the combined philanthropic fortune? It looks like Bill is headed back to Africa. We all came out of Africa some 50,000 years ago. Bill is a descendant of one of the more adventuresome primates that left Africa. He's going back to help the more "stay at home" Africans that never left the continent.

Malnutrition is the biggest killer in Africa. Bill plans on spending the bulk of the money on feeding the underfed. And then what Bill? It's easier to have children than to feed children. The stay at home Africans never quite grasped that truism. It's ironic. Bill Gates has become fabulously wealthy by replacing hard-working people with software and effectively making them redundant. But now he wants to spend the profit from that enterprise in a de facto breeding program of particularly redundant people who can't feed their own redundant children.

Thursday Morning With Dick And George

Early Thursday morning Dick Cheney bolts into the private quarters of George and Laura Bush. Laura is munching on a cold pizza and reading a tabloid. She doesn't notice Dick. Bush is snoring loudly from under his pillow.

Cheney in a panic, " Yeah but the market is down over 200. Goldman Sachs just advised clients to sell General Motors, Citigroup and Wall Street brokers. Ya can't trust those filthy Yankees and Jews at that kike firm. Next they will advise sales on Halliburton and the military-industrial complex. We've got to beat the war drums."

Now an anxious Bush fires, " Gee why did'nt you tell me earlier? Hey Dick when I'm out of here can I still have that Dairy Queen in El Paso?"

Who created the "Enron loophole" which was the Trojan Horse for the subsequent oil futures manipulation? John McCain's "national co-chair" former Texas Senator Phil Gramm says in a June 13, 2008 letter issued by McCain headquarters that it wasn't him. The Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 is the bill that he sponsored. The bill contained the "Enron loophole" but Gramm says that idea came from another politician.

Hey Phil , what about the original "Enron loophole" that your wife Wendy L. Gramm granted when she was the Chairwoman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commision in 1991? Her "executive order" exempted Enron from "postion limits" and the rest is history.

Oil Profiteers: Goldman Sachs Or Exxon Mobil ?

The debate rages over $140 oil. Is it supply/demand and an oil industry windfall or Wall Street manipulation--- or both ? At least motorists can get a tank of gas from Exxon. What do motorists get from suspected oil futures manipulators like Goldman Sachs?

In the past 12 months Exxon Mobil had gross profit of $172 billion. It's net was $42 billion. The average wage of its 82,000 employees was $12,000 per year. By comparison in the past 12 months Goldman Sachs had gross profit of $88 billion. It's net after salaries and bonuses was $10 billion. The average wage of it's 26,000 employees was a staggering $622,000 per year.

Since 2000, Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street brokers have successfuly lobbied for a liberalization of oil futures regulation . Goldman has consistently wrote investment advisories predicting dramatically higher oil prices while simultaneously building large proprietary long postions. At the same time Goldman and others created large pools of pension funds and investors to buy oil futures for their respective portfolios and thus take advantage of the liberating new regulations on oil futures. The net result is higher oil prices without a shortage as the reason. And a large part of the revenue from increase in prices going to the criminals at Goldman and their investment pool accomplices.

Interestingly present Secretary of Treasury and former Goldman Sachs CEO Henry Paulson, said," The rise in oil futures is strictly [because] supply/demand." He is also against re-regulating the certain parts of oil futures trading that he had lobbied to change some years back while at Goldman!

Flooding Follows The Human

The old world in the east has lost most of its trees . By comparison the new world in the west still has a plentiful amount. The reason for the difference, according to anthropoligists, is that man settled in the east before migrating to the west. And so the trees were cut and the rivers were channelled and diverted. The recent flooding in China, Burma, India and Southeast Asia are the results of denuded land and the flood plains of rivers being inhabited with surplus people.

Our own Midwest is now experincing the same dynamic. The ongoing channelling of the Mississippi River , draining of wetlands , clearing of the Great Plains of natural grasses for crops and housing developments in flood plains have all contrbuted to the "500 year floods". Have You Hugged A Holocaust Survivor Lately?

My Assemblymember Ira Ruskin sent me an email this morning. He informed that as part of the Holocaust Remembrance Week, the California State Assembly had a Holocaust Memorial Ceremony at the Capitol on April 28 of this year. Ira described how 60 bona fide holocaust survivors were paired with 60 young students. The students were told to interview the survivors and then write an essay about the genocide and mistreatment of Jews. The younsters were being sensitized to the Jewish plight. Lunch was provided by California taxpayers.

I didn't vote for Ira Ruskin. But Assemblymembers of California should be preoccupied with California affairs. Reps shouldn't be a tool to indoctrinate unsuspecting youngsters about the Jewish condition without giving equal time to victims of the Jewish experience like the Palestinians as one example. Ira Ruskin didn't do this.

If Ira wants to perpetuate the holocaust story let him do it on his own time. He should get together with the Jewish elders and plan for the day when all the holocaust survivors are gone. After all they are getting quite old. How about marketing the holocaust remembrance with a joint effort with corporate sponsors? For instance, Costco could private label a "Holocaust Charcoal" with a portion of the proceeds going to the srvivors of the holocaust survivors and their reps in government? Lenscrafters could provide special recycle bins in their outlets for used eyeglasses. The Zales Jewelry Store chain could have recepticles for used rings and necklaces. Then people who choose to remember can remember.

I have met decent Jews. They don't preach about the holocaust. The story of the Jewish experience has two sides.

What's The Difference Between A Republican And A Democrat?

According to "The Kingfish" Huey Long the 1930s Governor and Senator of Louisiana, "The difference between a republican and a democrat is the democrat will skin you from the ear down while the republican skins you from the ankle up".

And so the difference between former disgraced Republican Speaker of the House Tom DeLay and the current Speaker Nancy Pelosi is negligible. On Pelosi's watch, we have $8 corn and $ 140 oil and a subprime meltdown. Israel continues to build illegal settlements with U.S funding on Palestinian land. Bush is talking to the Iraqis about long term bases. Where is the voice of oppostion or the voice with a plan to mitigate these catastrophes? Anyone hear Speaker Pelosi with a plan?

Maybe she likes it this way. Certainly she's not much better than Tom DeLay. When someone is silent who is in a postion to make a difference then the silence is assumed to mean satisfaction with the status quo. If the democrats add to their majority in the coming elections and also take the presidency they may try for more gun control. After seeing Pelosi and DeLay one should never give up their personal protection against Congress.

Racial Slurs & Sexism In Presidential Politics

Poor Hillary and Michelle and Barack, they are complaining about sexist and/or racist abuse in the media coverage of their campaigns. What do the three have in common? They are not a straight white male. Apparently they are not accustomed to that kind of treatment. The SWM that have run for the highest office in the land since our founding have all been abused . They have been verbally and editorially abused about their race, ethnic backround, religion, physical characteristics etc. Some have even been killed. That's the ultimate abuse.

If minorities and/or women want to run for the highest office of the land then this type of racist/sexist abuse goes with the territory . Part of the chore of getting elected is to talk about the issues in a meaningful ways. If that is done then the candidates are not the focus and the race and or sex disappears.

USAF & The Ultra Violent Video Game

U.S. Air Force Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) "Predator" and "Reaper" pilots sit in comfortable booths in the United States. Their UAVs armed with high resolution cameras and missiles prowl the air space above Iraq and Afghanistan. Then the cool, no sweat pilots press a button on their "joystick" and send down laser guided bombs to the unsuspecting below. The victims include combatants, civilians and hapless flora and fauna. The front page of todays San Francisco Chronicle gushes in anticipation of a possible early start of homosexual marriages in the City . Fag- hag Mayor Gavin Newsom is dutifully trying his best for his impatient glory hole backers in Hollywood. He wants to move the time from June 17 to 5:01 P.M. on June 16. Is this too exciting or what? Ah to be alive and witness these fascinating and wonderful times!

Upon turning the page, the Chronicle carries an article titled "Teen Sex, No Longer Declining". What's more, the details of the piece quotes the Center for Disease Control stats on 1 in 4 teenage girls across all races now have a sexually transmitted disease. That's 25% of the upcoming breeding stock. Also teen pregnancy is on the rise after a decade-long decline. The CDC didn't speculate about the causes for the ominous figures. But the article said experts opined that "complacency about AIDS and changing attitudes about types of sex" were the reasons. AIDS has been sold as a cause celebre because of politicians and Hollywood. Somehow the completely avoidable disease is talked about in terms of bad luck or attacking the poor minorities dispropotinately etc. Anything or any excuse rather than commenting on the poor judgement about what part of the body is to be used for what particular function.

Coincidentally the 25% number also turns up in sub-Sahara Africa. Our black brothers and sister monkeys have an infection of AIDS/HIV at the same percentage of STDs showing up in our teen girls population-25%. The Africans just do what comes naturally. Warren Buffett is the world's richest man according to Forbes. He is estimated to be worth $62 billion. His flagship investment vehicle is Berkshire Hathaway. He has guided Berkshire's investments since the late 1960s. His investment philosophy is simple. Buy well-run disposable branded products that make loyal- repeat- user consumers. Then it's just multiplication of the population that takes over. The premise of the philosophy is at once brilliant and also vulgar.

The investment portfolio of Berkshire feature the likes of Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Buch,Gillette, McDonalds,Dairy Queen, Mars-Sees Candies, Wrigley Chewing Gum, American Express, Wal-Mart, Procter & Gamble etc. The consumer disposables created his wealth but also fostered human obestity and mountains of packaging and manufacturing garbage as a by-product. Most people only talk about the wealth side of the equation. But on a zero sum planet "wealth" has to come from some other thing that is diminished like water, clean environments, etc.

But things are changing. Now and increasingly in the future successful inventors and investors will have a guiding philosophy that first asks the question, " How much garbage will my product produce?" and secondly ask "How much will my product improve what nature offers perfectly?"

Condoleezza Rice Or Kind O' Ninny Rice?

Has there been a worse Secretary of State then Condoleezza Rice? No. She mostly condemns herself everytime she opens her mouth. For instance, she compared the 2003 invasion of Iraq to the "1960s Civil Rights movement in the South". Also in 2006 when Israel savagely bombed Lebanon's infrastructure and killed over 1000 innocent Lebanese civilians in the process she described the slaughter as "birth pangs of democracy". Recently she claimed a victory in the Iraq war because it had a "functioning democracy". I wonder what failure would look like to her?

Frankly she's a classic pickaninny. A pickaninny is a smallish African-American that is more than slightly behind .Putting her in designer clothes and straighteneing her hair is not fooling many. Kind O' Ninny Rice would be a more appropriate tag. The bucked teeth with the gap along with the didactic screehy voice nails it shut for me of her general unattractiveness. The gap in the front teeth hints at the gap in competence. In her defense she's smarter than Bush. That's more a cause for worry by the nation.

It's understood that when she leaves Washington she will return to academia and become a teaching professor. Students may consider buying dental strips for their front teeth and either writing gap on them or just blackening them to give the illusion of the gap of Kind O" Ninny's. There is an old saying that if 1000 monkeys had 1000 word processors they would recreate Shakespeare's works given enough time. Well to paraphrase that prediction, given enough time and money in an environment of political correctness the U.S. would come up with a pickaninny for Secretary of State. Well I'd say "Q.E.D.".

The Hillary Clinton story asks the question, "Can a white- trash, unindicted- crminal get respect from the people she claims to represent?". Apparantly not is the answer.

Last Sunday at the now infamous Trinity United Church of Christ of Reverend Jeremiah Wright an encore Hillary bashing took place. This time a guest Catholic priest and white Michael Pfleger delivered the sermon/harangue.

In part he said, " When Hillary was crying [New Hampshire] and people said it was a put-on. I really don't believe it was a put-on. I really believed that she just always thought ,' This is mine [nomination]. I'm Bill's wife, I'm white and this is mine. Where did he [Barack Obama] come from? I'm white. I'm entitled. There's a black man stealing my show' ".

The congregation went wild with laughter and applause. I could tell it was a mostly all black congregation because I couldn't make out their faces because they don't reflect light. So what was wrong with the priest's rant? We all know the arrogance and greed of the Clintons. They have been trading in main stream white culture for black and other minority votes since their political hatching. But the pundits cried sexism and racism. Why? Pfleger and Wright before him were just giving the congregation what they wanted to hear. Why didn't the pundits condemn the congregation? Because it's not politically correct, that' why.

The pundits had better learn quickly that the era of YouTube has mortally challenged political correctness . It's the reality of people's opinions and actions shown side by side with the presumptuous goals of political correctness.

When is an "oil shortage" not an oil shortage? When there is no rationing and oil is available . Why do we have high-priced oil if there is no oil shortage? We have high-priced oil because market speculators, hedge funds and commodity funds have poured billions into the oil futures market . This has driven up the price of oil and effectively distorted the relationship between actual supply and demand.

The enabling legislation that allows market manipulation was passed in December 2000. It was called the Commodities Futures Modernization Act. It provided for no oversight or regulation for the newly introduced financial derivatives called "swaps". That allowed organizations like Enron to speculate in the futures and energy markets with little or no margin and with "off books" entities. That Enron tailored legislation has been subsequently tailored for mainline investors like CALPERS (California's giant pension fund). The rest is history.

Former Texas Senator Phil Gramm was the lead Senator in introducing the legislation. He is a close advisor to Presidential hopeful John McCain. Look out! Also Wendy Gramm, who just happened to be the head of the Commodity Furures Trading Commission and Phil's wife, some 8 years earlier through an executive ruling exempted Enron from CFTC positions limits and regulations. And the rest is history.

Goldman Sachs is suspected of playing a prominent role in the oil futures price manipulation. Our last two Secretarys of the Treasury were former Goldman Sachs CEOs-Robert Rubin and Henry Paulson. Do you think that Goldman has gotten too big for the country's good?

The latest Field Poll of California voters show a shift to a majority now favoring-51% to 42%- same sex marriages in the state. According to Mark DiCamillo, Field Poll director, " It's a generational replacement, with older folks being replaced by younger voters very much in favor of same sex marriage". A"....generational replacement..."? That's optomistic. Not that we all need to be replaced but what about the homosexual diseases that may make this homosexual movement a one or two generational phenomenon and/or children normally springing from mostly heterosexual coupling?

The young who are in favor are aged 18-29 with the older being 50+ voting no. A few weeks ago the Center For Disease Control released a survey of teenage girls across all races. It showed 1 in 4 girls had a STD (sexually transmitted disease). That's America's upcoming breeding stock who are right behind the 18-29 age group that voted 68% in favor of same sex marriage.

Normally people date many times before finally popping the question about marriage. Will this new attitude towards same sex marriage encourage bisexual dating before settling down to a homosexual or a heterosexual marriage? Speaking of popping the question. Will any of the ambivalent sexual adventurers pop the question to their new partner " Where you been honey and who with ?". Maybe they wouldn't want to bring up the subject because they may be infected themselves?

According to the Book Of Revelations (Apocalypse) in the Bible, when the Jews are back in Israel then and only then will the second coming of Christ begin. French Fishermen Finally Forced To Face Reality

French fishermen are caught .They are straddling a dock of rising diesel fuel price and an away- drifting boat of elusive, depleted fishing stocks. The fishermen are protesting the 30% surge in the price of diesel in the past 4 months. They want the price rolled back so they can go further out to sea for the fish that they have depleted from their coastal waters.

Their anger has taken the form of port blockades, sea traffic disruption and acts of vandalism on land. The government has offered a limited subsidy but the fishermen say it's not enough. And so the natural world and its laws are brought into sharp focus. I.E. the using of a diminishing resource to pursue a frgile resource has its limits.

Many fishermen will probably go out of business. And well they should. Their business model and philosophy was flawed from the launch. Fishing for dinner is one thing. Yesterday Mayor Gavin Newsom squeakly proclaimed from his pencil-neck, " My god, this [same-sex marriage court ruling] is now bigger than San Francisco". The crowd gushed. And so Newsless let slip his personal joy of being freed from the pedestrian jobs of a local mayor. He was back on the national stage. He was "bigger than General Motors".

Hey Newsless, all politics are local. Sure there are many homosexuals in San Francisco. But I wonder how many would rather trade in marriage possibilities for a Golden Gate Park that was not a private reserve for bums? How about fixing holes in the streets instead of right of way for cannubial sodomy or cunnilingus? How about plugging holes in the budget and fixing gaps in sound city business regulations so heterosexuals and homosexuals alike can help plan for a secure future?

The meters will collect money for worthy homeless charities and discourage people from giving handouts to panhandlers.In the first place "homeless" is a sympton. It's not the problem. The cause of homelessness is either a mental condition or a simple lifestyle choice by some to just go feral.

If the problem is mental then the city can refer to the state law called "Laura's Law" which mandates outpatient treatment and help. Newsom refuses to enforce this statute. Why? Maybe he's a mental case also. If the problem is a lifestyle choice to go feral. Then there are plenty of laws on the books whether they be hygiene related or criminal to use to clear these filthy people out of S.F. Newsom does not enforce those laws either.

Here's some recent findings about the causes of obesity reached by some of the morons who run expensive government studies at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia . The study reports " there is a link between irregular sleep [too much and too little] and big bellies". Also the study points to "a link between light sleepers to higher drinking and smoking rates".

The conclusion issued by the CDC was, " We are getting to the point that recommending enough sleep [not too little or too much] as a standard approach to weight loss and prevention of obesity". No, it wasn't Dr. Goldilocks who was the spokesperson for the CDC.

I dont know how much money was spent on this study but it covered a pool of 87,000 adults and was conducted between the years 2004 and 2006. It must have been very expensive. Did it ever occur to the study directors that the main cause of obesity is laziness ? Did it ever occur to the directors of this study that these fat underworked adults would sleep better, drink less and smoke less if they got off their fat ass' and exercised ? The human species is largely disgusting . There are too many of us that really don't merit being supported.

U.S. In Iraq & Iran : Finally Getting It Right

It's a truism that " People who can't remember can never learn". And so if people refuse to learn from yesterday in Iraq, today in Iraq and all those tomorrows in Iraq then it will get worse. Filly Eight Belles: Exploitation Exploded Ankles

Three-year old filly Eight Belles with her bursting determination tried to catch the exceptional colt Big Brown in yesterday's 134th running of the Kentucky Derby. She didn't. She finished second. Probably both of her front ankles were already broken when she crossed the finish line. Within minutes she was euthanized on the track. Her spirit and determination were greater than her ankles could carry.

Simply the new regulation would require ships that are in right whale waters to reduce speed by app. 40% to 10 knots until they are out of whales locale. It's like cars slowing down in a school zone. The ship owners lobby say their costs of operation will go up because of the reduced speed. So The Dick's office is quoted ,"We had no evidence that lowering speeds of "large ships will actually make a difference". Arrogance and callousness thy names are Dick Cheney.

Buyer Beware: International Equine Acquisitions Holdings

A couple of Wall Street hedge fund managers want to apply their experience in security management to a business plan that invests solely in race horses. International Equine Acquisitions Holdings has raised $40 million since 2003. It wants to raise another $60 million and go public by this years end. I.E.A.H. 's current biggest asset is Big Brown. He's a colt with bad feet who is a good bet to do well in the upcoming Kentucky Derby. He may win.

Hedge funds by definition have postions on the "long" and "short" side of the market. That's so if the market swings either way the hedge fund can hopefully participate profitably with the net of the portfolio outperforming competitors and the market. So Big Brown is the major "long" in the portfolio. If he doesn't do well or his feet flare up again he may have a short career. In that event the "long' will be of no value. There will be no bid. In contrast Wall Street type hedge funds that deal in stocks, bond and commodities usually have deep liquid markets to recover some portion of an investment if things go wrong. Not so with race horses if they can't race anymore.

What is I.E.A.H.'s "short" to offset the market risks of its "long" postions in fragile and largely depreciating race horses? There are none. Maybe it will be the investors who will come up short. Horse racing can be a brutal sport. It's been called the "sport of kings" because it takes wealth to participate and it extends care for animals whether they win or lose. But in fast money investing such as I.E.A.H's business model, horses that don't earn their room and board become a liability. So the poor animal may suffer a miserable fate just because it couldn't make a return on investment.

Today the San Francisco Chronicle carried yet again the bleak facts of black children who are born into poverty. It was based on the recently released report by the Alameda County Public Health Department. The black child would probably have been born prematurely versus his white counterpart. As an adult the black was more prone to diabetes, heart disease, cancer, stroke and would probably die 15 years sooner than a white .

Since the 1960s and the Civil Rights movement, people in America have had to practice the charade of " all are equal". It was more than just a casual observance. One could get sued or pilloried as politically incorrect for failure to fall in line. Well the charade has been going on for such a long time that later generations have been so dumbed down by this "all are equal" mantra that many, too many actually believe it! So when facts about the above black child are documented, these dumb people look for others to blame. They blame prejudice, neighborhoods, income differences, schools, books, landfills etc. ad nauseam.

Well how about denying this lie of equality? How about saying "all are known by their differences"? Some are smarter, some work harder, some dont get diabetes , strokes etc. because they eat good food and exercise regularly. In the case of the above black child, he was " born into poverty". Why did his moronic parents have additional children ?

Everyone should at least once a day practice speaking one's mind. Maybe if we all do that often enough we can get critical thinking and speaking from a second language to mainstream.

U.S.Affluence Produces Overpaid Executives And Obesity

Last year George Soros took home $2.9 billion. He was only one of many . Many say that sum is excessive. I agree. Last year there were app. 200 million overweight/obese people in America. Many say that sum is excessive. I agree.

Is there a basic reason in U.S. culture that produces both phenomena? Yes there is. It's America's grossly affluent society. In the case of of excessive compensation, the piles of money are available if an executive gives up pursuing or enjoying most every thing else in life. In the case of obese people, an unhealthy lack of physical exercise and over eating the wrong kind of foods while spending time watching TV or playing video games is available because of the relatively small demand put upon people to earn a living. I.E. you can be as lazy as you want if you are willing to give up most every thing else in life.

Our government prints too much money. Money is no substitute for personal effort.

Jimmy Carter Is No Match For Zionists

Poor Jimmy Carter. He thought that Zionists were like most other humans. You know, like having the spirit of compromise, some charity, some compassion or some of anything that is not obsessive greed that leads to sedition. He brokered the 1978 Camp David Accords between Egypt and Israel. Since then the U.S. has paid billions per year to both countries not to fight each other. Israel used that crack in the cupboard to gnaw billions more out of gullible and naive Americans. And what is worse Israel's lobby got the U.S. to try to remake the Mideast power and demographic map in Israel's favor. The Iraq War is but one and the latest example.

Carter is in the Middle East visiting regional leaders in an effort to fulfill his draem of a peaceful region. He also has plans to meet with the leader of the U.S./Israel branded "terrorist" organization Hamas. Carter believes that it is self-evident peace can only be achieved if all the players are at the table. But in a classic Zionist " what have you done for us lately" gesture, Israel has refused security assistance to U.S. secret service body guards. Also top Israel leadership has refused to meet with him because of the Hamas meeting.

Carter made a key mistake in the writing of the Camp David Accords. From 1967 to the 1978 signing of the Accords, Israel was illegally occupying Palestinian lands in the West Bank. Israel was carrying out a slow-motion genocide of the indiginous Palestinians. Carter should have demanded an Israeli pullout of those lands or no Camp David payday. But that's history. And we all have 20/20 vision in retrospect.

But when one is dealing with Zionists, one need only refer to history and see what other countries were up against and how they handled the problem.

U.C.Regents Chairman Richard Blum:Wrong Man For Job

Today the San Francisco Chronicle carried a front page article written by Tanya Schevitz about University of California Regents Chairman Richard Blum. He's been on the board since 2002 but was moved up to the Chairmans slot last year. The article was supposed to be favorable but the facts that were used seemed to indicate otherwise. Baiting-terms like " alpha dog", "gangbusters style" and " [Blum's] streamlining the university bloated headquarters structure" fell short . For example, Blum's so-called "accomplishments"include making it easier to have private donors pay for U.C. projects! Oh yea he also got the banks to increase U.C. credit line to $10 billion from $1 billion.

So where's the beef? Or I should say "Where's the cut in the fat?" The article points out that there are 179,000 U.C. employees for the 209,000 students. They must be bumping into each other. I guess one way to tell the difference between them is the student has a hurried, concerned look whereas the employee has a relaxed look because the U.C. job over pays and it's damn near impossible to lose your job.

Blum is Senator Diane Feinstein's husband. S.F.'s Board of Supervisors thinks that $ 1,000,000 is a reasonable and a appropriate price for a ramp to be built in their chambers. The ramp is only 10 feet long and is being constructed to enable disabled supervisors access to the elevated President of Supervisors podium.

Why so much money? What about our Department Of Public Works personnel? Surely these overpaid city employees could construct a ramp. The DPW people could still mostly lean on their tools or set in their trucks while the designated worker for that week could still call "Quitin' time" when lunch was ready. And they would still be cheaper.

As for "enabling disabled supervisors ", don't they have too much "enabling" power already? This ramp is the latest example. The final end happens quickly but the transportation of stressed hurting animals must be an interminable experience. The plant owners share the blame for accepting these poor creatures with the farmers who know they are sending sick cattle to market.

And so for a few dollars, peaceful animals must endure excruciating pain and a violent death so many people who probably shouldn't have been born might have a meal that contributes to their overweight status. Whatever virus or event eventually catches up with the human species and wipes out many, at least 60-80% won't be missed.

How Can Bush Help McCain ?

"Baghdad ( Reuters) The U.S. military said on Sunday [February 17, 2008] it had evidence Iranian-backed Shiite militias in Iraq were increasingly using secret weapons to attack U.S. and Iraqi forces."

This includes rogue elements of cleric Moqtada al-Sadr and his Mehdi Army. Al-Sadr has voluntarily abided by a ceasefire for the past 6 months. Why? Probably bribed. But now that the "surge has worked" largely because of paying/bribing Sunni militias $10 per day to stop fighting their usefulness may have been fully realized.

But the new goal of the Bush Administration is to get McCain elected. So how best can Bush help? Bush is a unique super delegate. He can change the political calculus with a simple command from his postion as commander in chief. Suppose Bush provoked al-Sadr by attacking his forces? Would a reignition of Baghdad fighting help or hurt McCain? I'll bet that there is at least a 2 out of 3 chance that Bush will do something to reheat Baghdad .This would pull together again the republican base and would take some of the democratic momentum away no matter what Obama or Clinton say.

Holocaust Politics Update: Yet Another Angle

When one has lemons then the sale of lemonade follows. When one has dead bodies then the sale of guilt follows.

And so partly- Jewish President Nicolas Sarkozy of France has instructed his education minister to add yet more Holocaust education to fifth graders curriculum. France's schools already include extensive Holocaust studies , films, field trips to museums and concentration camps and the ubiquitous plaques placed on school walIs marking where children were taken away. It's also a crime requiring prison time to deny the Holocaust. It's not a crime to deny that Jesus was the son of god. I wonder if they had to delete anything in the curriculum to make room for this ? Sarkozy wants every fifth grader to learn the life story of one of the 11,000 French children that were killed by the Nazis in the Holocaust. He said," Every French child should be entrusted with the memory of a French child-victim of the Holocaust".

Does this morbid exercise lead to a kind of necrophilia or to a vetting of would-be saints?This is not good for young children. Holocaust mania has obviously produced too many Holocaust worshippers. One of them is the President of France. It reminds of Brer Rabbit's plea to Brer Bear in Disney's 1946 classic " Song Of The South". Brer Rabbit pleaded , " Please don't throw me in the briar patch". And so Brer Bear goes and throws the rabbit into the briar patch. And Brer Rabbit gleefully responds, " I was born and raised in a briar patch".

U.S. Apology To American Indians & Iraq War

Born-again U.S. Senator Sam Brownback from Kansas said yesterday, " For too much of our history, federal tribal relations have been marked by broken treaties, mistreatment and dishonorable treaties". He could have been talking about the Iraq War. But he wasn't .He was talking about a Senate bill on Indian affairs that includes an apology to native Americans.

Brownback still supports the war in Iraq inspite of the facts that show Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attack , the absence of WMD and the expose of the bogus intelligence that led to the invasion. So what's Brownback's apology and other the Senator's words worth? He and some others have no true sorrow or empathy for people who are unjustly treated.

Clinton's Plan For Future : How About A Dark-Humor Sitcom ?

It looks like Team HillBilly's political carreer has seen it's best days. What can these two colossal frauds do to stay in the public eye, avoid one on one contact with each other, get over paid, say what people want to hear and keep married to avoid divorce attorney fees?

How about pushing one of the networks to do a dark-humor sitcom loosely based on the Clinton's political life that follows them into retirement?It could be called The Clitsons. It's centered around Graspy who keeps/steals anything she can and her husband Bump. Bump got his nickname and de facto compass from the bump in his pants that he followed out the door each morning on his way to "work".

Graspy and Bump could have friends. One of Bump's friends could be named James Coupe de Ville. James likes to go to cock fights. Bump goes with him so he can meet the usherettes. Bump always comes home from Coupe de Ville adventures with stains on his trousers. Sometimes the stains are only the sausage and eggs that fell into his lap while trying to neck with an usherette while she was looking the other way and the food was just handed to him. He couldn't make a choice what he wanted more.

Maybe the first episode has Bump being dropped off at his home. He then begins to relieve himself on the lawn but he triggers motion-sensitive lights which illuminate his activity as if it's noon time instead of 2 a.m.. Bump thinks the lights are the flashes of the Papparazzi and turns slowly to give all a clear picture. After the lights go off, Bump strips his stained pants and collapses on the lawn sound asleep. At daybreak, Bump is awakened by the slam of his homes front door. He notices somebody . He asks," What were you doing with my wife?". The woman answers, " We were trading commodities". Bump comments, " That's what you call it?"

Mayor Newsom & Public Housing: How About A Near-Zoo For Near-Monkeys ?

Never let it be said that our hardheaded- Irishman, Mayor Newsom ever stopped trying. Sure he acts like he never learns but that doesn't stop him from repeating and extending mistakes with gusto. How about yesterday's latest example. He piled 50 S.F. department heads ( all earn over six figures per year) into a Muni bus for a day trip to the blighted Sunnydale Housing Project.

The Mayor was circulating his new idea for Sunnydale and other S.F. housing among the best ,brightest and most overpaid department heads. Gav's new idea wants to " ..treat public housing more like supportive housing for people struggling with homelessness , drug addiction and other problems". He wants on-site counselors, job training services, medical facilities and anything else any of the department heads can think of to add on.

Could this idea also describe a near-zoo-like facility for near-monkey-like residents? By definition, expanding the size and cost of bureaucracies will not solve the problem. Gav's condescension shows his soft bigoted attitude towards public housing residents. If he really wants to help those people then he will have to demand something in return from them so a work ethic and some sort of personal discipline is established. For starters, how about just keeping the place clean? And if they don't then kick them out for being a public health risk and move someone in who will keep the projects tidy.

Anyone For Afghanistan?

Poor Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, on Sunday he remarked in Munich, Germany about the NATO alliance, " We must not -we cannot-become a two-tiered alliance of those who are willing to fight and those who are not." He was speaking about the blowback of NATO allies to commit more troops and expand the mission to what may be an eternal war in Afghanistan.

Well, fight for what? Fight for how long? Who are we fighting? Afghanies or Taliban or al-qaeda don't wear uniforms and even so we can't tell when NATO drops bombs from fast moving jets . So the enevitable civilian casualties bear the bulk of the deaths and displacement. It's the more sane contingent of the NATO alliance that balks from further devestation of a country that didn't have much to begin with but now suffers with even less while they are getting blown up at the same time.

There was a rhetorical question asked by the antiwar activists in the 1960s. They asked," Suppose someone gave a war and nobody came?"

Madonna raised $5.5 million for her "African Charity" the other night at Gucci's new Fifth Avenue Store. A partial list included Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Gweneth Paltrow, Alicia Keyes, Kimora Lee Simmons,Rosie O Donnell , Alex Rodriguez, etc.

Where were the wealthy African-Americans? Don't they want to share a tiny fraction of their wealth with miserable Africans? I guess not, to paraphrase Flip Wilson's character Geraldine Jones, " I don't do windows or fundraisers."

Israel: Zionists In Wonderland

Today the Wall Street Journal had an editorial " The Israeli Lesson". It championed Israel's murderous enforcement of the 60 year occupation of historic Palestine. It listed Israel's "successful antiterrorist efforts" and scoffed at the worlds alternative discription/opinion of Israeli actions. These efforts included, " the construction of its ostensibly 'illegal' security fence [wall], its equally 'illegal' targeted assasinations of key terrorist leaders, its 'disproportional' attacks on terrorists enclaves [ refugee camps] in Jenim and elsewhere and other activities that saved innocent lives [ Israeli occupiers] but which much of the international community deplored".

In spite of the similarities to Nazi war crimes , the editor ended his piece by saying " Israel proved that terrorists can be defeated- a lesson that applies equally to Iraq". Only a zionist could see beauty in the crimes against humanity that the 20th century phenomenon Israel delivers on a daily basis to collectively punished Palestinians.

Well if the zionist approach to non-zionists is so valid and successful , why then are there only 13,000,000 left?

How About A Smaller, A La Carte Government ?

An a la carte menu offers and prices items individually. It's the essence of a personal choice eating experience.

Yesterday the president proposed a $ 3.1 trillion federal budget to congress. It was not modeled on an a la carte exercise. It was more a giant enchilada that all could eat a part. Sure a lot of politicians wrung their hands about it's size , but that was mostly for show. Secretly they relished the sustaining meal because it's their ticket to hoped- for incumbancy.The pols need to take care of their own whether through earmarks, federal contracts for contributing lobbyists or financial tidbits for family related enterprises. Because as long as the whole congress and the executive participate in the take or leave it approach to governments funding then they can't be starved out individually. I. E. when stealing get a majority of congress so you can do it legally.

Voters should require their reps in congress to vote on government programs individually-a la carte- so as to cut down on the giant enchilada experience. It's reached the vomit point.

Senator John McCain & The Return To The Reagan Years

If I've heard it once I've heard Senator McCain say it a hundred times about wanting to return to the Reagan era of leadership. Sorry Mac all we have is the present.

But if you really want to reference the past, then why go back only to Reagan? He never put anything on paper worth comparing to the writings and plannings of the founding fathers and in particular Thomas Jefferson. It's called the Constitution.
