Artificial Intelligence Vs, Politicians

Consumer Electronics were on display in Las Vegas recently.Nvidia announced deals with Volkswagen and Uber to develop self driving cabs and cars.Lets cut to it. If I'm going to be driven around Bay Area traffic by a self driving car why not replace my politicians with non human AI programed computers?If I trust no one in the front seat certainly I would trust an AI non human in Sacramento or D.C. more than the clowns and perverts and morons that have been dished up as leaders of our republic.The non human AI computer would be programmed By IBM's Watson Division. Advice. Next election write in Non human AI computer for any office available on the ballot.

Jeopardy & IBM's Watson

Last night the Jeopardy game show featured IBM's "Watson" super computer as a contestant. It was matched against two all-time winners on the show. It tied one of the contestants. So the first night of three was a draw between man versus the machine. To make a long story short, it had answers but it didn't understand some of the questions. I.E. some of the answers were non sequitors and didn't address the question . The machine couldn't be trusted .

Watson resembles politicians. We elect politicians to do things for us that we can't do for ourselves. But the pols turn out to be watsons who don't or refuse to fix the problems and just give out no- follow- through campaign pledges. The politians can't be trusted.

Super Monkeys & Supercomputing

The IBM companys new $100 million supercomputer called "Roadrunner" can perform 1,000 trillion calculations per second in a sustained exercise. Or more simply it can do in one day what 6 billion people with handheld computers in 24 hours can do in 46 years.

Now what do we super monkeys want with a supercomputer? Scientist monkeys at IBM say their computer will be used mainly for nuclear weapons research. For instance the "Roadrunner" can mimic the blast of a thermonuclear bomb. It's a kind of nuclear holocaust masturbation exercise.The seduction of oblivion beckons but not in the way directed by Buddha.
