Immigration, Citizenship and Bad Constitutional Law

Illegal immigrants can receive free schooling, legal advice, food and medical care. But the grand prize can be a American citizenship for their own child if it is born in the U.S. . Even if the parents are in the country illegally.

This is because of the twisted application of the 14th Amendment that was ratified in 1868. Section 1 of that Amendment provides, " All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside." The original Amendment was an answer and a means to grant full citizenship to the newly freed slaves.

The problem about writing any law is the danger of it being taken out of the context when it was written and being twisted by lawyers. Attorneys get paid the most for breaking and/or twisting laws legally.

The 14th Amendment was not intended for illegals to have legal citizenship for their children. Congress will have to revisit that section of the Amendment and change the wording.

Multiculturalism On Trial

Race and cultural backgrounds are important. Multiculturalism downplays the importance of race and culture. Therefore multiculturalrism is at odds with the very people it claims to protect.

This classic American legal confrontation played itself out in the theater of the Alameda County Superior Court yesterday. The players were an Anglo- governor ( Pete Wilson)- appointed Jewish judge who listened to a racially charged case concerning exit exams. The plaintiffs were non-English speaking Hispanic school children who were represented by an African-American who was being payed by public funds.

The issue was a California state law requiring an exit exam. The exam tests for student capability in math, english and algebra. One of the plaintiffs was Liliana Valenzuela, an 18 year old Richmond High student. She has lived in America for 4 years but spoke to reporters in Spanish. She said the ruling made her happy and now she could persue a career in nursing.

How do you say ," Pass the scalpel in Spanish ?"

Judge Robert Freedman who himself is currently charged by the California Commision of Judicial Performance for lying and failure to perform his duties in a timely fashion ruled," Students in economically challenged communities have not an equal oppotunity to learn the materials tested."

How come over 90% of students passed the exit exams last year? They all certainly did not come from wealthy families. Maybe Ms. Valenzuela and her parents should go back to Mexico where they can be among equals. Or else Ms. Valenzuela should learn English and only speak on American policies when she has done so. Meanwhile the forward momentum of trying to improve students learning is set back. Improvement in learning has been thrown into the sacrificial fire of the pursuit of the " equal rights" of the few students who refuse or are too lazy to learn the language of the country that they have moved to/invaded.

Civil rights laws have caused America to fracture along the lines of race and culture. In the future, America's states will be voluntarily segregated. Race and culture do matter. Laws and governments that ignore those realities wll not be as successful as those who do.

One Empire Please and Charge It !

The Defense Dept. budget combined with the supplemental budget of the Iraq/Afghanistan war is running at $ 700 billion per year. Our trade imbalance is running at $ 900 billion per year. Without foreign buyers of our debt, Americans would have long ago stopped funding empire and nation-building. Why ? Because American tax payers would not come up with the $ 700 billion for war/defense. Now foreigners obliquely accommodate our policies of empire by buying our debt.

Our military budget is app. 7% of GDP. In World War II America spent 35 % of GDP to wage the war. Think of it. To mount an all out war effort, the U.S. would have to spend app. $ 3.5 TRILLION in todays dollars. Do you think tax payers would be willing to spend that amount ? I don't think so. Money and material didn't win World War II alone. It took millions of military personnel in the Navy, Air Force and Army. Of those services, the foot soldier in the Army was the margin of victory. It requires the foot soldier to clear each town and wood of the enemy before victory can be declared. Or else there is a constant insurgency like Iraq and Afghanistan.

George Bush and his handlers at the Project for the New American Century who dream of an American empire are delusional. The U.S has neither the will, money nor committed manpower for such a goal. We will have to live in peace with the world.-it's too small for war.

Israel : Slum Landlord

According to the N.Y.Times today, border closings by Israel and witholding (stealing- my definition) of Palestinian tax receipts are creating an humanitarian catatrophe.

The witholding of medical supplies, food and necessities is a collective punishment. Israeli arrogance blows off comparisons to the same collective punishment by Nazis in World War II in the Warsaw Ghetto. Also playing a pivotal role is the " Mercant of Menace" Wolfowitz as president of the World Bank. He cut off funding to the Palestinian Authority even before Hamas came into power.

Israel has become a caricature of it's own stereotype. America should cut off funding that underwrites Israeli arrogance.

Please Insult People Who Can't be Shamed

People like Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld can't be shamed. They understand logical arguments. But their arrogance supercedes logical dictims. Actually they are paid handsomely by the lobbies for that quality of being shameless. Politics has been an ugly scene for many years. Ergo the racheting up of the war of words and relentless verbal insults are a must. MAKE THEM LOSE THEIR TEMPERS.

Life & Games : Real vs Virtual

The premier software games company Electronic Arts reported earnings yesterday. They were below expectations and the company forcast a tough period ahead. The problem is the increasing costs associated with game player demands for more reality and higher definition. This is only accomplished by expensive state of the art electronic components and costly software development. Hmmm, the high cost of virtual reality.

Do the game players ever think about doing something in the real world to fulfill their appetite for a challenging experience? Tool use by humans have brought about the division of labor. Now the progression of tools has divided reality. Now there is also virtual reality. Where will this lead? The ugly reality is while we may be losing our place in engaging the real world we are numerically taking up more space without being value-added..

America Should Not Support Israel vs Iran

The increasing sabre rattling by America , Iran and Israel is making me nervous. Let Israel defend herself. Isreal has more nuclear warheads than Britain. It also has F-16s, missles, 6 submarines and Boeing air tankers. America will gain nothing from a war with Iran. Time is now for Israel and America to go their seperate ways.

Should there be a time cylinder or monument by the Potomac that details the exact nature of the Israeli/Wasington relationship? Because some future Zionist may claim that Washington was an historic Jewish possesion !

Immigration Reform Pressure Working ?

I have lived in the Presidio Heights District of San Francisco for the past 30 years. Last week I saw for the first time 2 African-American nannies. Prior to that, the nannies or au pairs have been 80% Hispanic and the balance a mix of Europeans. I think that talk of enforcement of immigration law is the reason.

A retrospective of the part black nannies had in American culture includes the most famous Hattie McDaniel. She was Scarlet's ( Vivien Leigh) nanny in " Gone With The Wind"in 1939. Hattie won an Oscar for her performance. This passed Academy Awards presentations saw the Oscar go to black gangsta-rappers Three 6 Mafia for their "Original Music", " It's Hard for a Pimp out Here". America's culture has been going in the wrong direction for many years. We are to blame. But we can fix it.

America Now is Like The Last Days of Rome

First the bad news and then a plan for survival.

America's current situation remind of Rome's last days as a superpower. Preemtive wars for democracy and profit that are zero-sum. Whatever power is weilded abroad is subtracted from it's citizens. A planned mass boycott for illegal immigrant rights issues wants" to shut down cities". What's more, elected officials support the plan ! An elected president " Crosses the Rubicon " to become more like a Ceasar. He's supported by the military-industrial complex who look like a modern day Praetorian Guard. Federal deficits that remind of Rome's " bread and circus" budgets. There's more but you get the idea.

Now the way out. It's simple. Washington has too much power, The lobbyists and gerrymandered districts have won the game. How else could a crummy country like Israel get so much respect. Washington should be stripped of most of the powers that it has accumilated since FDR's New Deal. Some first signs of hope toward this end are the recent moves for impeachment of Bush through initiatives by the Illinois and California Assemblies. States should be the place where power resides. Also wars should only be waged by a majority vote through a NATIONAL REFERENDUM.

What is it about the month of May for Latinos ? Cinco de Mayo remembers the overthrow of France's Maximillian. On May 1st in America, Latino hot heads want to shut down major American cities to show their strength.They want an amnesty for illegals. They can go to hell. They are using the 1960s template of the Civil Rights movement. Wrong. The African-Americans and the carpetbaggers were citizens already. This Latino anarchy qualifies as an invasion. Compare the hypocrite-politicians attitudes to the Dubai Ports deal and homeland security to their attitude about millions of illegals taking over America in broad daylight.

Immigration officials should be making arrests and filming the groups for follow-up investigations. Send these illegals home.

Israel & Holocaust Survivors : Shame is For Export Only

Yesterday in Poland, Holocaust survivors, students and others totaling 8000 remembered the atrocities at Auschwitz and Birkenau death camps. They participated in the annual March of the Living. What major city in the Western world doen't have a Holocaust memorial? It's serves as a reminder and a bill of guilt served to all.. And it has worked. Israel's existence is in large part due to the debt that the West felt it owed to the Jews for their hardships.

That's what made an article carried by the Associated Press interesting. According to the article, there are 90,000 Holocaust survivors living in poverty in Israel today. Israel is a rich country thanks in large part to U.S. aid that is part of the guilt trip that Israel's lobby has us on. For example, Israel's long-term debt to the U.S. totals over $ 42 billion. But the debt service is offset by the 1983 Cranston Amendment. That amendment provides that any repayment of debt to the U.S. should be equal to any economic assistance that the U.S. gives to Israel. So its a wash. This does not count the $ 2.5 billion that America gives Israel yearly because of Pres. Carter's Camp David Accords. Israel's GDP is app .$ 140 billion. The governments budget is app. $ 58 billion of which $ 10 billion is for the military.

Israel's Holocaust Survivors Welfare Fund distributes app. $ 35 million per year for medical benefits. Of that total Israel only pays $ 3 million. The rest is payed by Germany and Austria through the New York- based Claims Conference. It is part of reparations. The article also says that about 10,000 survivors are eligible for aid but don't get it. Israeli Holocaust survivor Zeev Factor, 80, said, " The government of Israel has received money from the German government but I think the [ Israeli ] government didn't use enough for survivors."

Israel is shameless. It markets Holocaust guilt and shame to the world as a branded product. But domestically it doesn't pay its own obligation to the Holocaust survivors.

Impeachment of Bush: States ,Grass-Root Activism

Part of Thomas Jefferson's legacy was his " Manual of Rules of the United States House of Representatives". It includes this provision in Section 603, " allows federal impeachment proceedings to be initiated by joint resolutions of a state legislature."

Well Karen Yarbrough of the Illinois Assembly introduced such a bill of impeachment on April, 20. Yesterday Paul Koretz, assemblyman of Los Angeles, California introduced a similar bill in the California Assembly. According to Jefferson's rules it would only take one such resolution for the House to be compelled to take it up in front of all other pending legislation. Vermont and 4 other states are also in different stages of similar resolutions.

It's about time. The lobbyists and Congress have already won the game of locking up America's political destiny with little regard for the real world in America. They have become roguish , non-relevant and very expensive. This type of quasi-national referendum/parliamentary no- confidence vote is an approprite end run.

Equally forboding for Bush and his hate-mongering stooges is a recent poll taken in the heavily Christian Conservative state of Alabama. The Capital Survey Research Center on April 19, published a negative view of Bush's performance across all categories. If Bush draws bad reviews in Alabama, he's toast across the country.

Iran's President Ahmadinejad Asks A Good Question

Iran's President Ahmadinejad said today, " Some 60 years have passed since the end of World War II. Why should the people of Germany and Palestine pay now for a war in which the current generation was not involved?". Someone in America should have asked that question about Palestine's role a lot sooner. But what a difference in communications in these past 60 years. That question should have been debated in America. Instead it was treated like a taboo subject. Both the left and the right in American politics got wealthy and powerful by doing the bidding of the Jewish/Israeli lobby.

The U.N didn't have the power of eminent domain when it partitioned Palestine in that rigged 1947 vote that created Israel. Refer to the book " O' Jerusalem" by Collins and Lapierre. The whole political intimidation by the U.S. and other European countries is laid out. It's been said that," America only learns about history and geography by going to war." That's too expensive. Disease & Death in Africa: Wrong & Misguided Aid

Sub-Sahara Africa suffers a death rate of app. 30,000 per day. Most of the deaths are because of malnutrition. This staggering figure is despite the app. $ 500 billion ( todays dollars) that Africa has received in aid since the 1960s. Things have actually gotten worse since the aid started. Why? Because the aid has actually exacerbated the problem. The aid which takes the form of life- saving and life-prolonging drugs along with food assistance has propelled a population growth that requires ever increasing aid. This has not been offset with an equally agressive birth control effort. Therefore sub-Sahara birth rates per woman are 3 times faster than the DONOR nations. Africans are having 4.5 children per woman versus the European/American 1.5 children per woman .That kind of math will never come out with a sustainable balance.

The overpopulation has created a breeding monster that ravages the African soil until it can't support crop growth anymore. When droughts come as they always have and always will, it is the last straw in the African's fragile existence. They are forced to migrate in search of food and water to cities or neighboring countries. And then the genocidal wars start.

For whatever reasons, Africans in general have never advanced themselves scientifically and culturally to be able to use state of the art drugs in a judicious balanced way that offsets their birth rates. Consequently its up to the donor nations to impose a discipline of birth control . There should be no aid without an a plan for birth reduction.

A long term plan for African stability should recognize the inherent difference of Africans with other nations and take advantage of those strengths and weaknesses. . It's strengths are the natural geographical beauties and the relatively untouched ecosystems. This is a perfect surrounding for eco-tourism and land conservations. It's indigeous peoples are more suited for the related employment opportunities.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion : Probably False But Still Accurate

"The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" read like a nickel-novel. Facile, amateurish and hokey are some discriptives . But.

Opening today at the Holocaust Museum in Wash. D.C. is an exhibition called "A Dangerous Lie: The Protocols of the Elders of Zion". The backround of the book is laid out. It points to what the elders of the museum believe or would have us believe are the parts of literary history that the Protocols could have been engineered from. The museum directors are doing their own sort of reverse engineering to try to prove their point. But that still begs the the question, " Do the Protocols accurately describe historical and modern -day Jews ?"

The Protocols were published in 1905. They have endured because there is some truth in its content. Specifically, there is and has been a Zionist movement. Whether that Zionist movement involves individual Jews living a double-life or double-agent type of existence is for the most part overdone. But the existence of a common goal for a mutual benefit is really proven by the many, many Jewish/Israeli political acxtion committees and benevolent societies that include some with a sharp offensive attitude of reverse discrimination.

The Jews would dispel some of the justified criticism if they would stop playing the race card and cashing in on the Holocaust so shamelessly.

The Wheel and Civilization: About To Go Full Circle ?

Today's newspaper carried an article about the cost and scarcity of a wheel. It wasn't just any wheel. It was 12 feet tall and 4 feet wide and cost $ 40,000 EACH. It's fitted to those giant dump trucks that handle 400 ton hauls. Open-pit mining companies are thr primary users. The demand for natural rsources has exploded with population growth times the exponential of consumerism. As the price goes higher for coal, zinc, copper, etc the holes in the ground go lower and wider in their extraction.

Have we gone as far as we can go in the evolution of the wheel with this monster wheel? And by implication, is man's evolutionary journey and impact reaching the natural limits of our earth and will soon stagnate and/or retreat? Who first made use of the wheel? Archeologists found the artifacts of wheels in ancient Mesopotamia that dated back to over 5500 years ago. Mesopotamia is modern day Iraq. What a coincidence. So now the descendents of the " cradle of civilization" are back waging war that threatens all civilization. Are the tools of the frivolous primate not appropriate ? What a difference from the small discreet foot prints of our ancestors over 200,000 years ago in Africa and the the wheel print of the vehicle the descendents use today.

Citigroup's Sanford Weill Got Away Smiling

Sanford Weill of Citigroup retires today. The media photos show him with a big smile. Not coincidentally Citigroup reported its 1st quarter earnings also. They were over $ 5.64 billion. Whatever one thinks of Sandy's business culture and record, he knew how to make money. Citigroup needs only 2 such quarterly earnings to pay for the many, many fines and lawsuit judgements that they have had in recent years. But the app $ 10 billion in legal judgements are mere tokens to pay for the enormous profits that the financial giant takes in. A partial list of scams of Weill's Citigroup include: Enron,WorldCom, Adelphia, Dynegy and Global Crossing.

Foreign governments have also noticed the rapacious antics of Weill's Citigroup. This partial list includes major illegal financial schemes in China, Britain, Japan and Argentina.

Also Citigroup was recently fined over $ 285 million by the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Reserve for " predatory lending" to poor people who were buying homes. No one is too big or too small for Sandy's Citigroup to put the touch on. The sum total of greed and larceny at Citigroup rivals the infamous Halliburton.

Poor Martha Stewart. She must wonder. "What did I do so bad? Look at Weill's Citigroup and what he got away with."

Sandy says he's going to play more golf in his retirement. But it won't be the same. An honest game of golf hasn't the challenge or thrill of pulling off some deal . But golfers can be caught in rough lies also. Sandy will come out smiling.

Education of Minorities : Voluntary Segregation as a Solution

One would sound cruel and glib if one said, " The problem with minorities is that they exist." But there is truth and an implied solution in that flippant statement. The solution to a minority problem is to put as many of them together so they become a majority. This includes education. That bit of truth has been popping up across America. Trying to teach classes that are filled with multicultural students invites failure in performance. Americas European culture and educational curriculum and ENGLISH only has been submerged by the new realities of an open door policy on immigration without regard to Americas cultural foundations.. This started with the Nationality and Immigration Act of 1965. Also the Civil Rights laws of the 1960s and the Federal Education Act of 1972 hindered a remedy for the wrong turn in education. Those laws changed the arrogant " seperate but equal" approach to education to the political condescension of " different but equal". Both are not accurate or workable.People are known by their differences. Culture, race and competence do matter.

In Omaha last week, the Nebraska legislature led by Ernie Chambers its only African-American, established 3 VOLUNTARY school districts that are race based. One is white, 1 is black and 1 is for hispanics. Mr. Chambers said, " We [blacks] desire to control a school district in which we are the majority."

Last year the Bush administration proposed a change in Title IX of the Federal Education Act of 1972. The proposal would amend the Act to allow single sex classes and schools to be offered if there was equal funding. It was supported by Sen Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.; Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md. and Sen Kay Baily Hutchison, R-Tx.

Gary Orfield,director of the Civil Rights Project at Harvard said last week in response to the Nebraska vote, " These efforts to resegregate schools by race keep popping up in various parts of the country."

The "times are a changin". Its about time.

Exxon CEO Pay vs. Apple Computer, Disney and Oracle CEOs

Here's a quick reality check for all the politically correct groupies. They are upset by the news of Exxon retiring CEO Lee Raymond's compensation total from 1993 to 2005 amounting to over $ 686 million. But Steve Jobs of Apple Computer received over $700 million in the year of 2000 alone. Michael Eisner of Disney bagged over $ 550 million in the year of 1997 alone. And then there is Larry Ellison of Oracle who bagged over $ 500 million 2 years ago. Sure Raymond is as ugly as a core sample and his business is oil and he's not semitic but the others are more greedy according to the numbers.

Impeach Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw

Public Health laws are more important than individual rights and take precedent. No one has the right to contaminate the public areas. Sidewalks don't flush. Urban renewal is more important than the homeless. The 8th Amendment barring of " cruel and unusual punishment" has nothing to do with clearing public walkways of sleeping bums.

Who would deny these statements? Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw does. She sits on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit in San Francisco. She ruled in the majority of a 2-1 panel that invalidated a 37 year old ordinance in Los Angeles. Shw wrote in her opinion, " The 8th Amendment barring 'cruel and unusual punishment' prohibits Los Angeles from punishing involuntary sitting, lying or sleeping on public sidewalks that is an unavoidable consequence of being human and homeless without shelter." She is a moron.

The area in question in L.A. is 50 blocks square. It is called Skid Row. Recently there has been an urban renewal of part of that area. New apartments and condominiums have been built. That's good for the city and it's people. But the new inhabitants resent that homeless/bums have to be stepped over or avoided because they might be dangerous. Enter the L.A. Police to clean up the area. Then enter activist lawyers that are pro bums paid hansomely by the taxpayers. Then enter Judge Wardlaw.

One wonders about Judge Wardlaw's personal hygiene habits when she ignores the discriptions of what the downside is of sidewalks that don't flush. But one shouldn't wonder that she is incompetent and should be removed from the bench.Again. No one has the liberty or right to contaminate public areas.

G.G.Bridge Suicide Barrier: Bad Idea

The Golden Gate Board of Directors raised $ 2,000,000 to pay for a study of adding a suicide barrier. Estimates of the barrier cost range from $ 50,000,000to $ 150,000,000. Why do we need one? The Bridge opened in 1937. Since then 1200 people jumped to their death. The past 69 years shows an average of 17 deaths per year. Let's assume that history repeats itself. So over the next 69 years app. another 1200 people choose to jump from the Bridge. If the costs are at the top of the range at $150,000,000 then the prevention costs will be $ 125,000 per person saved. Too much. Way too much money and it will not stop a determined suicide. There are too many other ways of ending one's life. Directors should take note, that during their efforts to raise the $ 2,000,0000, assisted suicide was actually ruled legal under certain conditions by the U.S.Supreme Court in the U.S. and in Oregon in particular. That's the direction we are headed .

Tom Ammiano our own Stupidvisor also sits on the Bridge Board . He's has been a major influence in pushing for this study . He said, " This is a significant gesture that will be appreciated by the families affected." So it's a $ 2,000,000 gesture ? What an idiot he is. The "affected families" won't get their family members back nor do I think that they stay awake at night thinking about prevention for some unknown next death. Or maybe he's not an idiot and will receive some contributions from the consultant group that is doing the study. So then he's not an idiot but only a simple thief.

Endangered & Most Dangerous Game Canned Hunt

Is there anyone more cowardly than a hunter of trapped animals ? Spain has become a favorite destination for wealthy hunters worldwide who spend up to $ 30,000.00 per day for a canned hunt. The big price is paid because the game is illegal . The animals include tigers, lions, antelope, elephants and other endangered species. The game is transported illegally into Spain from different parts of the world. Some come from zoos. These types of animals are not native to Spain. So the animals can't familiarize themselves with survival knowledge on the fast timetable that is dictated by the commerce of canned hunts. Hunters have high-tech scopes that provide amazing distance kills. Some hunters have silencers on the rifle. With a muffled sound the hunted animal doesn't know it's in someones crosshairs sights if the first shot misses. Consequently it doesn't flee.

Wouldn't it be a better world if the depraved hunter could be exposed to his/her own slaughter and butchery? How about having an equally armed animal rights activist being in the same compound as a wild card possibility? Let's take it a step further. Since the human is not endangered over 6.5 billion at last count, leave the wildlife out of it altogether. Why not have a corporate and/or animal rights sponser post a large purse for a winner-take-all hunting duel ? There could be only two adversaries or teams or hell why not a small army of contestants? A few years ago , a member of the prestigious Royal Society in England suggested that by his calculations there should only be about 600,000,000 million humans that the earth could sustain comfortably. If I fought, I would fight with the animal activists. Who would you fight for? What do you think?

Compliments of th U.S., F-16s, Apache gunships, drone aircraftand and satelite observations have made killing Palestinians akin to " shooting fish in a barrel". The Palestinian resistance still relies on on the relatively stone-age barbarism of suicide bomber with occasional inaccurate home-made rocket.

Israel has created a slum of refugee camps filled with displaced Palestinians from historic Palestine. Like the slum landlord, the economy of Israel is wealthy while its tenants are among the poorest in the world.. But that disparity also points out a fact. After 50 years of tyranny, Israel's high-cost military tactics have not stopped the low-cost Palestinian resistance model. In fact the Palestinians have forced Israel to withdraw from Gaza and other occupied areas.

Israel has a problem of stagnant to declining population. They have choosen to cower behind their seperation wall. It's ironic that after all the centuries of fighting bias, discrimination and racism that the Israelis finally agree that they need to be segregated.

History supports Darwin's thesis that low-cost adaptive behavior survives. Hamas fits this thesis more accurately in this conflict.

Illegal Immigrants, Mob Rule & Civil Rights

The political model being used by illegal immigrant activists is patterned on the Civil Rights movement used by the blacks and their supporters in the 1960s. Yesterday the Irish rebel Sen. Teddy Kennedy joined the protesting crowds in Wash. ,D.C.. He recalled this very spot where Martin Luther King spoke of civil rights for all. Teddy said, " I see [ in you protestors] America's future". From his track record, he's correct. Teddy never mowed a lawn nor does he intend to. Nor would he force a welfare recipient, that he and his brothers help create,to mow his lawn. The tactics of mob rule, rioting and civil disobedience that the blacks and their suppoters resorted to did indeed change Americas culture and laws. Those Civil Rights laws of the Great Society have had the effective negative consequence of fostering a welfare dependent and dysfunctional underclass that won't do the jobs that the illegal immigrants do.

These are not civil rights demonstrations. One has to be a citizen first to protest about the countrys laws. This is anarchy and mob intimidation by foreigners. Unfortunately for us the illegals know that they are up against our largely spineless and corrupt politicians. How will largely immoral politicians stand up to illegal immigrants ?

If our politicians fail then it becomes a chore for citizen border guards and whistle-blowers on employers who hire illegals. Most importantly our own welfare legions have to work before they can receive benefits.

Gospel of Judas: Jesus & Jews Revisited

It looked like just another Easter for faithful Christians. But the perfectly timed marketing blitz of the 1700 year- old Gospel of Judas by the National Geographic Society and other connected media vendors shattered that expected serenity. The Gospel was discovered in Egypt about 35 years ago. It was circulated among potential buyers and/or scholars for ideas on where it fit . There were no takers until National Geographic and others decided to bring it out of the shadows. Now it is the basis of 2 books, television shows, magazine articles and public exhibitions. The marketing blitz included simultaneous op-ed articles across the country. People associated with the project and others were given media coverage if they provided comment. These included Elaine Pagels, Gary Wills, David Gibson and also priests, rabbis and scholars.

The message of the marketing carried a challenge to the Christians account regarding the part that Jews played in Christ's death. According to the Gospel of Judas, Jesus deliberately used Judas as part of the divine plan for the redemption of mankind. The direct implication was that Jews were not the infamous " Christ-killers" of ancient history.

I never understood the bad rap on the Jews for their part in killing Christ. Jesus was a Jew and his biblical betrayal by other Jews seem to be an event among equals.

But the marketing of the Judas Gospel smacks of a slick public relations make over of the poor image of Jews and Israel . They have gotten their image lumps because of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. At least half of polled individuals blame Israel for the conflict. Therefore if there could be some relief of the guilt that the Jews bare in an historical sense then public opinion might be more favorable in todays conflict.

Note the recent best sellers list in the N.Y Times also show books that challenge traditional understanding of the Bible. Books include, " What Jesus Meant", " Misquoting Jesus"and the blockbuster now in paperback " The Da Vinci Code". PBS is showing an abnormal amount of holocaust and favorable Israel documentaries. It would seem that the Jewish community is working late into the night trying to change public opinion about their place in history .

Voting Rights Act, Illegal Immigrants & Illiterate Americans

Certain sections of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 are up for renewal in 2007. But the debate is starting now in Congress. It couldn't come at a better time. With the illegal immigration issues raging across America, it is educational to view some of the bad roots that were planted with this Act that relate to todays immigration problems . The key to a democracy is the right to vote. But who can vote is just as important. The Act outlawed literacy tests as a hurdle for voting. Literacy tests were outlawed to accomodate mostly African-Americans and some non-blacks who couldn't read or write. That provision is not up for renewal. But it should be deleted from the Votings Right Act. Literacy should be a requirement to vote. What's the problem in requiring people to know how to read and write ? English is Americas official language. Read the choices without help and write out the name of the candidate that they want. Also to answer a question. For example, "Do people have responsibilities with rights? "

Out of the " literacy test ban" came the faulty logical extension that multiple language ballots should be provided to voters who didn't speak English. Voila! We have linked illiterate American's rights to legal and illegal non- English speaking immigrants voting rights. Multiple language ballots is coming up for renewal . It should not be renewed.

Mayor Gavin Newsom, Irish Rebel

It was said that 19th century Irish immigrants when entering a new country asked one question first, " What kind of government you got here ? Because I'm against it." Mayor Newsom is a descendent of that kind of politicaal Irish stock. He's the mayor that invited homosexual marriage in San Francisco. His criminal behavior redifined the cultural custom of marriage and broke California state law. He probably handed George Bush the margin of votes to win. Newsom should have been impeached. But he is the Platonic sodomite of the homosexual community in S.F.

Well he's at it again. Now he and S.F.'s Board of Stupidvisors are urging San Franciscos law enforcement agencies not to comply with criminal provisions of any new federal immigration bill. Newsom said, " If people think we were defiant in the gay marriage issue, they haven't seen defiance." Wow. Why all the venom? What's his problem? The main reason why he is mayor is together with his father Judge Wm. Newsom Jr. they do a courtier-like performance for billionaire Gordon Getty. Getty's money and the judges brown nose got former Mayor Willie Brown to appoint Gavin to the Board of Stupidvisors. From there Gavin and groupies developed a cheap version of J.F.K. including a striking rent-a-wife and an unfurnished home in the required political district.

Since Gavin is such an Irish caricature of rebellion he should resort to drinking to temper his raging spirit. Seriously other Irish playwrights, poets, actors and characters have somewhat civilized themselves under the influence of alcohol. If one can't stand being normal or one really doesn't get it then one should fake it.

Senator McCain is Dumb, Senator Feinstein is a Liar

Sen. John McCain of Arizona spoke yesterday about pending immigration legislation in the Senate. He said, " This is the greatest challenge... securing our borders, taking 11 million people [ illegal immigrants ] out of the shadows who are exploited everyday." The man is a fool. "Exploit" is the word more properly used in reference to what these illegals do to our country. These so-called" exploited" who live in the "shadows" earn enough to support themselves while in America and in addition send app. $ 20 billion back to Old Mexico each year.

Senator Dianne Feinstein of Ca. wrote an op-ed piece this past Sunday. She said, " They [ illegal immigrants ] are forced to live furtively, deeply embedded within all parts of America." She is not a fool. She is a liar, i.e. no one forces these criminals to live furtively. One chooses to become a criminal first then has to live furtively secondly. According to her long record, Feinstein would seem more interested in democracy for Iraq and security for Israel than in security for our American democracy.

Americas original laws were based on her culture. We should enforce those laws or lose our culture.

Latino Illegals Go Home

Bureau of Immigration and Custom Enforcement and Pew Hispanic Center facts point to the reasons for immigration problems in the U.S. In 1992 there were app. 4 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. of which 80% were Latinos. Now there are app. 12 million illegals of which 10 million are Latinos( 1/3 are unemployed). During this past 14 years U.S. Border Agents increased by 189%. What caused the spike inspite of the increased border protection during the full Clinton presidency and roughly 1/2 of the Bush presidency? Lack of enforcement of existing laws is the reason. Enforcement actions against illegals and their employers fell from app. 1500 per year in 1992 to only 3 in 2005. Clinton's watch saw a decline from 1500 enforcement actions per year when he took office to 1000 per year by the time he left. Bush is worse. He has presided over a decline from 1000 actions per year to a probably criminally effected number of only 3 enforcement actions in 2004. Campaign contributions do work.


America is a magnet for illegals.Besides the opportunity for work there exists multiple free services that await illegals compliments of our irresponsibly and probably unconstitutional welfare laws. These perqs include but are not limited to free schooling, free medical care, free legal advice, automatic citizenship for children born to illegals in the U.S., ballots in multiple languages, driver licenses and in some areas the opportunity to vote. Also the reason for many of the illegals being welcomed by some is the fact that our home-grown welfare citizens won't get on their knees except for Jesus or a sexual act.

Illegal Latinos should stay in their own country. They should concentrate on having less children and having their own governments provide the framework for employment. Our own carpetbaggers, businessmen, lawyers and all the other vendors who feast on the illegal immigration problem should consider themselves more than somewhat a traitor to America at large. If they can't live by the spirit and letter of the laws then they should be treated as illegals also.

American Jewish Committee and Iran Threat

The American Jewish Committee took out a full-page ad in todays N.Y. Times. The ad showed a map centered on Iran. The range of Iran's new missile were the parameters of the map. The implications were that all in that parameter were now subject to annihilation- from the Arctic in the north to South Africa, from Spain in the west to China in the east. But they still don't have 1 nuclear warhead.

The A. J. C. made no mention or comparison to Israel's 200 ready-to-go nuclear warheads, 6 submarines, Harpoon missles, F-16s, Boeing air-tanker etc. Actually the most lethal weapon Israel controls is our own Congress ! Through A.J.C., American Israel Public Affairs Committee, The Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations and others, they control our store-bought politicians. Israels enemies are her problem. Israels character is her fate.

American Justice Can't Win Against Terrorists

Yesterday Zacarias Moussaoui, a Morroccon immigrant, was found eligible for the death penalty. He was complicit in the Sept. 11, 2001 bombings of the World Trade Towers where 3000 people died. 9/11 happened over 4 years ago. American justice is just now closing the case. Think about it. Terrorists killed 3000 people in New York within hours. It takes America over 4 years to serve up justice to only a minor player. If this were a ball game America would have lost.

Our legal system effectively exists more to serve the financial interests of the players rather than pursuing quick efficient justice. This includes lawyers, judges and the bureaucratic layers that serve the trial theater. There is more money in delaying justice . The players in America's legal system enjoy the comfort of a non-competitive atmosphere in an otherwise extremely competitive world. There should be an incentive for quick inexpensive justice. my suggestion would limit all lawyer fees to a fixed amount so that the quicker the resolution the higher the hourly rate.

Secretary Rice: Foolish and Spoiled African-American

Secretary Rice continues to make a fool of herself and by extension the American people who let this pickaninny represent us. She flew to Iraq this past weekend to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari. She said, " .. the money and blood sacfrifices [ in Iraq] of the American people needs better efforts to form a national unity government." Gee Condi, do you think the Iraqis care about our spent money and lives and your opinion? They had it better under Hussein.

Mexican Illegal Immigration & African-American Welfare

The streets of Los Angeles were filled yesterday with an estimated 1,000,000 legal and illegal Latino protesters. They were sending a message to our Congress which has different pending legislation concerning illegal residents.

Some years ago there was another 1,000,000 man march in Washington, D.C. This protest was made up of mainly African-Americans citizens. They were complaining about Civil Rights issues. They wanted more help from the government. Different goals than the Latino march but they were subtly tied together. Predictably the Latino protestors want the least government intervention. But the legal African-Americans protestors wanted more government intervention in the form of costly assistance programs and affirmative action.

The recent U.S. Census showed a higher unemployment rate among African-Americans versus a lower unemployment rate for Latinos. What is the conclusion to be drawn from both the marches and the Census figures? It implies that there is a direct correlation between African-Americans who are on welfare and unemployed to the influx of legal and illegal Mexicans who will do any work.

America really doesn't need " new" immigration legislation America only needs to force people who receive welfare assistance to work.With that change in welfare distribution, the result will include less illegal immigrants doing jobs our legals wont do. One law that should definitely be removed from the books is the automatic citizenship granted to people born in America even if they are children of illegal aliens.

Lawrence Summers : Seeking Job With Wolfowitz ?

Lawrence Summers, former U.S. Treasury Secretary and soon to be ex-president of Harvard because of culturally depraved remarks is floating some new ideas. Maybe the ideas include a new postion for him that would fit his own high estimation of his worth. In a recent speech in India, he counseled emerging countries to move some of their enormous holdings of U.S. Treasury debt into other emerging markets debt and assets where the returns would be higher. Here is where he might fit in. He said, " Because central banks are likely to be criticized if their investments do poorly and opportunities for mischief in picking assets and exercising control" Mr. Summers suggested the World Bank " could create an international facility in which countries could invest their excess reserves without taking domestic responsibility for the process of investment decision and ultimate result." Could he be that new portfolio manager who would take" responsibility for the process of investment decision" for the " excess reserves" ?


Summers is lacking cultural awareness. From his barbaric statements at Harvard to now, a former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury recommending publically for others to reduce their exposure to our debt. And then there is the prospect of Wolfowitz being his new boss at the World Bank. Do you think that the " Merchant of Menace" would have some ideas how to manage investment flows by Summers so that political results could be determined? How about less money flowing into Middle Eastern countries except Israel ?

Maybe Summer's new ideas were really Wolfy's ?

Bush : Bible, Quran ( Koran ) & History

Bush's State of the Union Address in 2003 was in part a promise to fellow evangelicals Christians. He used the words and structure of a Gospel hymn for part of his speech, " Yet there is power, wonder-working power in the goodness and idealism and faith of the American people." The actual hymn goes, " Power, power wonder-working power in the blood of the lamb." The hymn carries the promise of Christ's redemption. Thus Bush framed his personal evangelical mission and by extension brought the rest of us Americans along. Bush beleives in the Bible and little else. The Bible gives saved souls like his a " charge to keep". In return our president must spread Christianity to as many as possible. He came to use nation-building and democracy as his Trojan Horse to that purpose.

Here we all are 3 years later and Bush's delusional evangelical mission faces the blowback of reality from equally fanatical Muslim clerics. Yesterday in Kabul, Afganistan Abdul Rahman was being tried for his life under Islamic Shariah laws. These laws are condoned by the Karzai Afghan government. Rahman's crime was his conversion to Christianity about 15 years ago and only recently revealed in a child custody case. Note that Bush had nothing to do with this man's conversion. The clerics of the religious council called Ulema have the authority and aims to fulfill its own " charge" which is to execute him.

Too bad Bush read and only believed the Bible. If he had the curiosity to read the Koran or even a history book about the region he would have known that he was a loser from the get-go.

Negative Influence Of Israel Lobby & Rachel Corrie

Professors Stephen Walt of Harvard and John Mearsheimer of Univ. of Chicago have collaborated on an essay printed in the latest London Review of Books. The full work is available on the Kennedy Center Website. The expose essay follows the American Israel Public Affairs Committee ( AIPAC) and The Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations influence on America's Congress, executive branch and cultural orgainzations. Their conclusion is that the power of Israel's lobbies has jeopardized U.S. security and self-interest in favor of Israeli goals. The Iraq War is an example. I urge people to read the full document and also to look at aipac.org to see what our Middle East taskmasters have as our next chore.

My own research in " Evangelicals, Zionists & Secular Neocons" shows how AIPAC and The Conference...Jewish Organizations effectively guide over 100 U.S. pro-Israel PAC s. In total they can marshall over $ 265,000,000 ( app. 13% of total lobby money spent in 2004) per each Congressional election cycle. This kind of money assures Congressional obedience.

A recent odious example of their greed for cultural influence involved the pressure on the New York Theatre Workshop to cancel its March, 2006 presentation of the play " My Name is Rachel Corrie". Rachel Corrie ( she was Jewish) was crushed to death by an Israeli Army bulldozer in Gaza on March, 16 2003. She was protesting with the International Solidarity Movement against Israel's barbaric demolition of Palestinian homes as part of Israels collective punishment policy. Israel government has not accepted responsibility nor has anyone been charged for the death. Members of AIPAC, The Anti-Defamation League and The Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations officially or unofficially brought enormous pressure on the Workshop not to show Israel part in that sad event of Ms. Corrie.

Young Black Men : Dropouts and Character

Yesterday the N.Y.Times had a front page report of recent " scholarly" studies about the " plight" of young back men. Experts were quoted from Colombia, Harvard and Princeton Universities. The report included these statistics, " In 2000 65% of black male high school dropouts in their 20's were jobless. By 2004, the share had grown to 72% .By comparison 34% of white and 19% of Hispanic dropouts [were jobless]".

The studies blamed poor schooling and lack of personal character i.e. self-discipline, positive goal behavior etc. One of the poster boys for this demographic was Curtis Brannon of Baltimore, M.D. He quit school in the 10th grade to sell drugs, fathered 4 children by 3 mothers and spent time in jail for numerous violations of the law. He's not out of his 20's yet!

The study suggests another $ 50 billion be spent by the Federal government to help people like Curtis.I don't think so. I have a simple observation and suggestion for Curtis and others who similarly situated . Get a job and keep it.Start by following were the legal and illegal hispanics get their daily work. Stand in front of stores that are frequented by contractors who are looking for day workers. Then Curtis can start supporting all those children he help create.

Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush : Monkeys and Business

" It is unfortunate that we [Iraq] are in a civil war...the country is nearing a point of no return." So said former prime minister of Iraq Ayad Allawi in a BBC interview yesterday. At the same time in different media venues, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Bush were a discriptive chorus of " success" and " progress" of the same Iraqi War. The 3 mens denial of reality remind of the statuette of 3 monkeys with the inscription, " See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil". And if I may press the monkey comparison further, Cheney and Rumsfeld could be the organ-grinders for the military-industrial complex with the leashed monkey Bush doing the soliciting from those lobbies.

New U.S. Massive " Shock and Awe " Bombings in Iraq

Massive U.S airstrikes were launched to the north of Baghdad today. Rumsfeld, Gen. Pace and others recently gave testimony that the U.S. can't win militarily. So this is gratuitous bombardment! What are the chances that at least half of the casualties are 2 and 4 legged innocents? Where's the oppostion in Congress? They should have been cutting funding for this war months ago. They are part of the problem. Did Karl Rove encourage the bombing to drive home the obvious point that there is really no choice in the coming November, 2006 elections?

Shylock's Legacy is Israel

" The Merchant of Venice", Act 4; Scene 1, " My deeds upon my head! I crave the law, the penalty and forfeit of my bond."

Those were Shylock's words as he prepared to cut" a pound of flesh" from Antonio's chest. Yesterday, the Israeli Army using tanks and bulldozers demolished a prison in Jericho in the West Bank. Guards and bystanders were killed and wounded. It was a revolting display of greed and arrogance. The Israelis wanted Ahmed Saadat and 5 other convicted assassins who were serving time for killing an Israeli Tourism Minister in 2001. Raanan Gissin, an Israeli government spokesman said, " We will put them on trial and they will have to serve their sentences in a real prison, not a mock prison and pay for the crime they have committed." Like Shylock the Israeli government protests that, " I crave the law." Never mind that in the craving, Israel kills and breaks the law and provokes more poison in the region. Shylock likewise did not care for Antonio's life in seeking " ..the penalty and forfeit of my bond".

What will follow will match Shylock's words, " my deeds upon my head." So true. Character is fate for people and countries.

All Politics Are Local

It is a truism that all politics are local. It is tantamont to affirming that survival is the primary impulse of any being. But here's the rub about local politics in Washington. More and more the local politics of D.C. are not connected to the politics back home in the states. For example, Senator Feingold's reolution to censure President Bush for violating the Constitution and the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, I.E. Bush spied on Americans without a warrant, found little or no support for an immediate vote by the Senate. Instead it was kicked into a committee where it will probably be talked to death. Since the committee is run by the local republican mandarins nothing will happen. Who is served by this tactic, the Washington crowd or the voters back home? With a 60% plus disapproval rating of Bush's performance, the Washington locals foiled a legitimate vote of censure.Equally repulsive is the revelations of Team Hillbilly ( Clintons together). Hillary is fighting the Dubai Ports World deal while Billy is taking millions from Dubai as a quasi-lobbyist trying to get the deal done!

What can be done? Washington has becomes filled with charlatans with few exceptions. The antidote to their quackery is to withdraw issues that they have control over. For example, education should be a state responsibility. Also war should only be fought after a National Referendum . Simply keep more power at the state level where would-be charlatans can be monitored more closely.

Carlyle Group : Military-Industrial Hedge Fund

Carlyle Group, the Washington based private equity firm that includes board members former president George H.W. Bush, former Pres. Reagan's Secretary of Defense Frank Carlucci and other privateers from Bechtel ad nauseam just launched a new fund. Carlyle raised $ 1 billion for investments in " U.S.-based infrastructure". The model will be like this. The demand and money comes from institutional investors, such as private pension funds. The supply of investment vechicles will include a lot of those base closing assets that will be available to people on the inside who will have Carlyle do the packaging and marketing.

Carlyle Group has been in the forefront of investment pools for those who wanted to cash in on the war on terror. For example, Carlyle's Iraq investments included the manufacturer of the Humvee and the Bradly Fighing Vechicle. Notably, this holding was sold to a British firm some months ago. Carlyle's portfolio also includes telecommunications, cement production and numerous infrastructure fabricators. They are the classic hedge in war. First be part of the team that blows things up. Second be part of the team that rebuilds. And for you cynics who follow the money. Does this new U.S focus mean that a terrorist attack is imminent? The key to their business model is to have a working control of the executive and legislative branches of government. Respectively, one will push for war and the other will issue checks that include the rebuiling. Q.E.D.

Military-Industrial Complex as Hypertrophy

This years Dept. of Defense budget shows a skewing of priorities away from military personnel head count in favor of build up in expensive hardware. Huge price tagged programs like the controversial DDX Destroyer, F-22 Fighter, submarines, drone aircraft etc. are getting funded with some of the money that was to be for military personnel. Personnel costs are projected to decline in 2006 by 14% while funding for hardware and maintenance will increase by over 30%.

It looks like Rumsfeld's plans for future American engagements will follow the failed Iraq model- i.e. " shock and awe" bombardment with state of the art weapons to be followed by an insufficient amount of troops to secure the territory. Rumsfeld is more than a little senile and more than a caricature of a warmonger. Policies like this will insure that America will start many wars but will not win any. The only winners will be the military-industrial complex who will prosper win, lose or draw.

Cheney and AIPAC

Yesterday in Washington, Vice President Dick Cheney gave a speech at the annual meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. It was standing room only for the 5000 gushing, giddy members. Standing ovations were as regular as bus servive. And the Dick had a ticket to ride. He promised much. It included American unflinching, unlimited support for Israel. He also talked about the military option against Iran and its " fanatical regime". Cheney's approval rating is only 18% among polled Americans. It is apparent that the Bush/Cheney administration policies are more popular with Israel supporters than American citizens. Is security for Israel most of the times mutually exclusive with security for America ?

Hollywood Oscars: American Democracy Cultural New Low

Hollywood awards last night certainly demonstrated yet another new low in America's cultural devolution. Put aside the nominees for best picture which include worn out subjects like racial tensions in L.A., Jewish inclusion hurdles and homosexual recruiting/celebration issues. These films continue to deny that character is fate.

But clearly new ground was broken when the rap group Three 6 Mafia's " original music" score titled " It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" won an Oscar for " best original music"! First, it's not music. Where's the melody? Can you hum it ? Sing it ? Whistle it ? Oh yah, "pimps" as a subject matter leave most people wondering why they should care or listen. The visually inarticulate lurches and gyrations of the rappers is like 99% of other me-too rap groups. The dress/costums were all off- the- shelf from the likes of Urban Outfitters or another rag merchant.

Oscar host Jon Stewart, cultural/political satirist seemed to agree. Three 6 Mafia was the only person/group that escaped his biting/cutting comments. Instaed he gave faint praise which showed condescension. This group and their followers need the truth more than a faux golden statue. National democracies always end up lowering national excellance. What's better? How about more local democratic control based on symbiotic relationships and contributions?

War is a kind of pollution. So why not trade contracts based on the Israel/Palestinian conflict? With an economic incentive spread among a wider group, this will mitigate war-mongers, lobbies and zealots grip on the status quo. For example, Israel was created in 1947 out of the partition of historic Palestine. There was a partially rigged vote by 35 of 57 members of the United Nations. Since that time Israel has been engaged in its" war of independence". I propose a contract based on the existing population of Israel to be distributed among the original 35 Israel-creating voters. The contract would guarentee a home based on a pro rata share of 35 countries if Israel ceased to exist. The original members could either sell their contracts or buy more. in either choice the U.N. vote would have to be revisited. Buyers of this contract could be potentially large. Israelis themselves could opt to leave their shrinking, war-threatened country. Palestinians and other Muslims countries would be eager buyers for an economical and humane resolutuion to the conflict. They could show the world that its not the Israelis but the idea and place of Israel they are protesting. Simply they want their country back.

India, Iran, Nuclear Non--Compliance & America

President Bush and Condi Rice were in India yesterday. They were a long way from their physical and cultural roots. Condi particularly looked out of place. Her protruding teeth, straigthened hair and high- fashion gown was in stark contrast to the meticulously dressed pure-bred , disciplined Indian honor guards. Bush looked equally out of place, more like a door to door appliance salesman that covers America's midwest. But now he was on special assignment in a foreign country selling nuclear equipment! Bush and Rice were peddling nuclear equipment to a country that is similar to Iran in terms of non-compliance of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. But the difference between Iran and India is Israel , an American ally, it is threatened by Iran . Whereas India only threatens Pakistan also an ally of America but it does not have the clout in our Congress that Israel has. America should abide by the terms of the Nuclear Non- Proliferation herself. She shouldn't deal with either India, Israel or any other non-compliant nuclear power.

Bush Lying, Must Have Known About Port Deal in Mid-January

In mid-January, Bush nominated senior executive of Dubai Ports World, David Sanborn to run Dept. Of Transportation's Maritime Administration. The mid-January date coincides with the approval by CFIUS of the P & O deal. Bush says that he just found out about the P & O deal. But the mid-January nomination makes that impossible to beleive. Now D.P. World has the unique postion of being a tenant and a landlord in America's ports ! This is like Cheney and Halliburton. Sanborn's postion at the Maritime Administration allows a view of of the logistical grid of America's ports. A possible explanation for this royal treatment is the multi-billion dollar financial connection between Dubai and the Carlyle Group. Carlyle includes on it's board Geo. H. W. Bush and former Reagan Sec. of Defense, Frank Carlucci and other suspects.

London Mayor Suspension & Nazi Remark

Why was the Mayor of London, England suspended for 4 weeks because of a remark? He compared an agressive Jewish news reporter to a Nazi camp guard. So ? Has no one ever met an agressive Jewish news reporter before? How about ABC's Andrea " Shrink-Wrap" Mitchell ? Tom Lantos & Google : Censorship & Surviving

Recently Tom Lantos, the ranking Demcorat on the House International Relations Committee, insulted representatives of Cisco Systems, Google, Microsoft and Yahoo !. He compared their cooperation with the Chinese government with regards to censorship to the German industrial base cooperation with Hitler's Nazi Party. Lantos also said, " Can you say in plain English that you are ashamed of what you and and other companies have done?". This is a false issue. The fact is that the companies would not been allowed a foothold in China if it didn't agree to the laws of the nation. Those companies being in China will provide the Chinese population the oppurtunity to speak a new language to commincate and avoid censorship and oppression.

Lantos never misses an oppurtunity to twist any subject into a referendum on the Holocaust. Lantos is a survivor of the Holocaust. How did he survive when so many died? Did he cooperate with camp guards and camp rules to avoid death? Is he as guilty as Google for obeying the rules of survival? Lantos is a survivor of the Holocaust. He is not a victim. He should retire from Congress and get a real job. If he is qualified for anything.

Seventy-eight year-old former Congressman Pete McCloskey is challenging 7-term incumbent Richard Pombo. Pete wrote the Endangered Species Act and help create Earth Day. He agrees with fellow Marine John Mertha of Pennsylvania that America should withdraw from Iraq immediately. Incidentally McCloskey was the most decorated second-lieutenant in the Korean War. He led 6 bayonet charges !

On the other hand,Pombo is the poster-boy for the Bush/Cheney Congressional cabal. Pombo wants to weaken the Endangered Species Act . Its the Trojan Horse to free up government parkland for exploitation by oil, gas and ore business interests. Pombo has the unique postion of being the Chairman of the House Resources Committee. He pimps his influence to the highest bidders.

U S & Israel Threaten Embargo of Occupied Territories.

On the front page of the N.Y. Times is a column today, " US and Israel are Said to Talk of Hamas Ouster". It reminds of the gallows humor about T V news, I.E. " Missiles launched from Russia aimed at America. Film at 11". so now America will be dragged into an embargo, blockade of the Palestinian people because of their election of Hamas. This reminds of the Cuban Missle Crisis and the action against Japan in China and SE Asia before Pearl Harbor.

The US is going to defy 1.2 billion Muslims not to help their own in the already horrific atmosphere of the occupied territories. This is a looming catatrophe. America should not tie its fate to Israels. We have a better character than Israels.

Israel in N A T O ? NO

The trial balloons are being released. Israel and the United States are talking privately and publicly about having Israel accepted into N A T O . None of the 26 members are on record in favor of this. Even the U. S. is only discussing the "concept" as reported today in the Wall Street Journal.

The problem is simple. What are Israel's borders? A country without borders begs the question: Is it really a sustainable country? The N A T O membership gambit is Israel's attempt to gain legitimacy. This tactic worked for the founders of Israel in 1947 when the U.N. partitioned historic Palestine. But it wasn't until 1948 that Israel engaged in its war of independence that continues till today. N A T O would only bring another layer of police protection for Israel and disturb the region further.

Dick Cheney: Accidental Hero

Never mind the original intent or plan. The accidental results portray the Dick as a hero in a nickel-novel. Cheney while hunting, diminutive, fragile and paranoid quail on a friend's 50,000 acre Texas bunker-of-attitude missed the poor bird. Instead the Dick shot one of his few remaining friends. It seems that Dick deals in death at work and at play. The good news for Cheney is Whittington is going to live. But the real good news is the quail got away. But Dick is grinding what's left of his teeth. " Damn quail got away". Dick needs a victory.

America Should Talk to Hamas

Russia is making a good gesture by inviting leaders of Hamas to Moscow. France concurs. Bush/Cheney say America shouldn't deal with terrorists. Did Hamas terroize America? No. Hamas has terrorized Israel. Although Hamas has stuck to a self-imposed truce for over a year. But Israel continues its F-16 airstrikes against " aledged" terrorists.

In the 1960s America's government met with Civil Rights activists including some who fomented riots across the nation. I was called up for the riots in Watts and Berkeley. People died and buildings burned. These acts of insurrection led to Civil Rights legislation of questionable legacy. But that's not the point. Ignoring reality only compounds the problem.

Betty Friedan Meet Henry David Thoreau

The 19th century writer/philosopher Henry David Thoreau said, " Most men lead lives of quiet desperation". He probably included himself. But what he did about it was unusual. He left that part of his humdrum and went into the woods. He wrote about his travels and thoughts most notably in " On Walden Pond". He wrote about how our species was being spiritually suffocated by our tools and insittutions. He said, " Be a Columbus to whole new continents and worlds within you... not of trade but of thought".

Recently Betty Friedan passed away. She is most noted for her writing the very popular 1963 book " The Feminine Mystique". She wrote about women's " nameless, aching, disatisfaction" that she termed " the problem that has no name". She was refering knowingly or unknowingly to Thoreau's " quiet desperation" description of the lives of many men.

Thoreau went into himself and reconnected with the natural, apolitical world. Friedman founded NOW- National Organization of Women. She made a political organization of the " nameless, aching, disatisfaction" syndrome. Thoreau found fulfillment in himself. Friedan tried to fulfill herself with others. He moved " in". She told others to " move over". Control of oneself is easier than trying to control others.

N.Y. Times Thomas L. Friedman Unglued : Rants in First Person

It could have been a bar mitzvah gone totally wrong. Friedman in his column today " Driving Towards Middle East..." rants in the first person. He used " I " and/or " me" 9 times in describing his personal demands to isolate Iran and stop it from making a nuclear bomb. He was having a hissing fit. He gave directives to China, Russia, India, Bush/Cheney and even American motorists. Namely stop using Middle East oil and drive Iran and others into poverty. The elevated delusional level of rant was akin to a speech by Hitler or a 13-year old " son of divine law " who got too many Rolex's and not one phone call from a gentile coed !

Maybe things are getting close to getting resolved in the Middle East ? With the " Butcher of Beirut " Ariel Sharon out of the way and his replacement showing some flexibility. Rants like Friedmans and recent equivalents by Wm. Kristol of PNAC and David Brooks also of the Times point to a possible two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian injustice. Todays news of Russia inviting Hamas to Moscow can only be positive.

But sons of Zion were raised on a one- state solution. So when the reality doesn't fit the family's dream story, tempers will flair.

Cindy Sheehan Should Challenge Sen. Feinstein

Cindy Sheehan is considering a challenge to 14-year U.S. Sen. Diane Feinstein of California. Sheehan says taking on Feinstein would "energize" the anti-war movement. She's right. Feinstein voted for the war and still supports it.

Feinstein and husband Dick Blum represent in the extreme what's wrong in Washington today. Prior to marrying Sen. Feinstein, Dick Blum had little to show for his other marriages and other business enterprises. But hooking up with Di-Fi made a big difference. All of s sudden a large amount of rich people wanted only Dickie to manage their money! His rumored income is app. $ 100,000,000 per year in fees. He's the guy who with Diane's help was trying to sell the Naval Base at Long Beach, Ca. to China. But the media got hold of the story and the negotiations were stopped immediately.

Feinstein and Blum in the last several years have acquired 3 homes- Wash. D.C. , Aspen, Colo. , & San Francisco, Ca.- costing over $ 31 million in total. Feinstein's senator salary amounts to only $ 140,000 per year. That amount doesn't cover the property taxes on the S.F. property. But that's where Dick's income comes in.

On the other hand, Cindy Sheehan speaks and acts from her heart. She speaks passionately and persuasively about the need to stop this criminal war in Iraq. Having lost a son in Iraq, she is the incarnation of the results of votes by the likes of the Diane Feinsteins in our government. Cindy should run. Her message will resonate with honest people.

N.Y.Times Thomas L. Friedman: Environmentalist ?

Samuel Johnson, 18th century lexicographer and author said, " Patriotism is the last bastion of a soundrel".

Enter N.Y. Times' writer and PNACs Wm. Kristol soul brother Thomas Friedman. Using poetic license we will substitute " environmentalism" for " patriotism" and " scoundrel" with " Zionist". Now to loosely paraphrase Dr. Johnson, " Environmentalism is the last bastion of a Zionist".

Mr. Friedman's last 4 columns point to the evils of " petrolism" and its high price as the source of strength for Islamic militancy. He reasons that without money, the threat from Iran and other anti-American or anti - Israel Middle Eastern countries would be greatly impared. Hey Tom, what about occupied Palestine? They are broke but still pose a threat to American interests and Israel. So as per Mr. Friedman's interest in Americas national security, Israels safety and er, oh yes the environment, oil originating from the Middle East should be avoided. Let's all plunge the Islamic countries into poverty and then there will be peace! Like Iraq.

Why we all mostly agree with Mr. Friedman about the bad results to the environment from oil use, a quicker road to peace would be for Israel to recognize Palestine as an independent state and stop its acts of political and military acts of agression. This is the Palestine that the Zionists erased from the map in a rigged 1947 UN vote.

Hollywood: Occupied Territory & Affirmative Action

The Best Picture nominations were announced today. " Munich", " Good Night, and Good Luck" were based on the problems of the Jewish life experience. ' Capote" and " Brokeback Mountain" dealt with homosexual issues with ground-breaking homosexual recruiting in " Brokeback..". And " Crash" deals with race tensions in the Los Angeles area.

Quite a few other films which were comparitively wholesome and more broadly appealing were passed over. The nominated list reflected an affirmative action agenda toward perennial minority members of Americas society. Who identifies with these misfits? Other misfits and their lawyers? But what about the rest of us?

D.C. mansion, an Aspen, Colorado" ski chalet" and the latest is a $ 16.5 million mansion next to Gordon Getty's mansion in San Francisco. This home has a property tax of app. $180,000 per year. Sen. Feinstein's salary as a government representative is app. $ 140,000 per year. Well " how does she manage to make ends meet?" Enter Dickie Blum. He runs billion through his investment pools. Now those stakeholders either like Dickie's personality and competence or want access to his Jewish American Princess A.K.A Sen. Feinstein. Here is a hint to the answer. He had no investment business of any note prior to hooking up with Di-Fi.

Sen, Feinstein, is also is one of AIPACs ( American Israel Public Affairs Committee) largest recpients of cash. Estimates of Blum's income range as high as $100,000,000 per year. Remember when Dick with Feinsteins help almost sold the Naval base at Long Beach to the Chinese some years back? Hamas or Israel ? America Shouldn't Take Sides

The Palestinians elected Hamas. The Israelis say the group is dedicated to Israels destruction. But Hamas has stuck to a self-imposed truce with Israel for over a year. This indicates a door of possible dialogue left open. The Palestinians are saying to Israel that turnabout is fair play. Israel, with Americas help, wiped Palestine off the map by a rigged 1947 UN vote. Since that time-58 years ago- Israel has refused to allow a Palestinian state, allow the return of refugees or share Jerusalem. Also Israel has used American armaments including laser-guided bombs in Palestinian urban areas for targeted assasinations. Whose the more terrorist? And so with Palestinians denied hope and their own land the suicide bomber is born . He wants to deny Israelis in turn of hope and land.

Bush/Cheney/Rice have said that America will not deal with Hamas. What happened to the spread of liberty through democratic elections? Americas security interests needs peace with Hamas and the rest of the Muslim nations. Those countries have more to offer the US than Israel does.

Hillary Clinton's Canary is Drowsy

Coal miners in the past took canarys in cages with them to detect if lethal gases were present. If the canary became lethargic or died the miners would evacuate. Here in San Francisco Sen. Clinton is giving a speech at a fundraiser this Friday. As of Wednesday barely 1/3 of the available seats have been sold.

Hillary is only 1/2 of Team Hillbilly ( the Clintons together). Billy and Hill are running as a team for president in 2008. What this remarkably light fundraiser turn out may indicate is that the liberal San Franciscan crowd feared they would become drowsy listening to the synthetic Hillary.

Yesterday Ehud Olmert, Kadima Party leader, remarked about the prospects for for a side-by-side Israeli and Palestinian state. He said" The biggest challenge facing Israel was defining the countrys permanent borders in ways that assured a continued Jewish majority."

Sounds like he needs Tom DeLay. How about Tom starting JewPac? The political action committee would have the obligation for a new gerrymander of historic Palestine. The old 1947 UN gerrymander turned out to be too greedy for the realities of Israeli demographics. Israels population is stagnant to shrinking. The ramifications of this population status pose important questions. What's a stagnant/shrinking belligerent population do with 200 nuclear warheads?

Missing American Military Justice

On Jan. 23, 2006, Chief Warrant Officer Lewis Weishofer Jr. was fined $ 6000.00 and confined to his barracks for 60 days for the death of an Iraqi general. Originally he was charged with the murder of Iraqi Major Gen. Hamed Mowhoush. He killed the general by stuffing him headfirst into a sleeping bag then sat on his chest and then covered the generals mouth with his hand. This was done while interrogating the general in a detention camp in Iraq in 2003. How does an interrogator get answers from someone in a sleeping bag who is headfirst and has the interrogator sitting on his chest and has the detainees mouth covered?

Is this psycho-creep Weishofer representative of the military? But the lack of serious punishment for his crime makes the rest of the military complicit in his criminal behavior. This example of light or non-existant American military justice isn't an aberration or a first. In August 2005 PFC. Willie V. Brand was spared prison time for his part in the beating of 2 prisoners in Afghanistan in 2002. The 2 prisoners died some few days later.

Gee. I wonder if the internet, Al Jazeera or other Arabic broadcasters reported these stories? Of course they have. And that's part of the reason that more Americans are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan. The assymmetrical terrorist war brings a brutal symmetrical justice.

America Needs Iran as a Friend More than Israel

In the late 1970s Pres. Carter changed Americas relationship with Taiwan. Carter thought that in the interest of peace in that part of the world America should only recognize China as the primary representative of the Chinese people.

Well, what about the Middle East? America should make peace with Iran and by extension the greater Muslim world. Israeli interests should only be considered in the broader context of regional and world peace. Iran and the Muslims nations have far more to offer America than Israel.

Literacy, Critical Thinking and Civil Rights

The Pew Charitable Trust funded a literacy study. Recently it found that 50% of students from 4-year colleges " Lack the literacy to handle complex real-life tasks. They cannot understand arguments of newspaper editorials, compare credit card offers, interpret a table about exercise and blood pressue..".

This literacy deficiency is about a lack of training in critical thinking. The Civil Rights Acts of the 1960s outlawed codified segregation. And it was right to do that. But the Acts also brought affirmative action and a dumbing down of the school curiculum for the purpose of more student inclusiveness. SAT scores after the implementation of the those Acts are lower than pre-legislation scores. The students are treated more equally and with less discrimination but the price paid was evident in the Pew report.

Remedies for this fall in performance has led to allowing students in many schools to access the internet during tests. Also some schools even allow text messaging among students during the test to arrive at a collaborative answer! Even Harvard does not discriminate against students applying for admission who have this type of learning history.

Students who cannot remember cannot learn. If students reference the internet or friends for the answers ,who then is being tested? What personal qualifications does a student have who passes such a test?

Lets reintroduce critical thinking into the curiculum. Even if that means discriminating against other students who can't compete or keep up. Schools should give students truths that they can use in later years. The truth for some may be that work in the trades , common labor or service should be the direction that they should pursue. Capable students should not be held back because of political schemes. We are known by our differences.

Osama bin Laden's Truce Offer: Iraq War vs. Korean War

Harry Truman dropped 2 Nuclear bombs on Japan. But he chose to negotiate an end to the Korean War. Osama bin Laden has offered a truce in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why not take him up on it?

I doubt that Bush will accept. He is owned by 3 powerful lobbies. The evangelicals, Zionists and Neocons. The evangelicals see the Middle East as the place for the second coming of Christ in the "end-times" and a place to convert Muslims. But people who want an end to this war should contact the White House, Congress, write opinion pieces and call in talk- shows to show support for a dialogue with the other side. Oprah Winfrey & Holocaust: Guilt Marketing Payday

Thanks to Oprah, Elie Wiesel's " Night" a holocaust memoir/novel is on the best seller list. Winfrey got a black-eye from her recommendation of " A Million Little Peices". It turns out the book was a fraud in key areas. So Oprah, a master of guilt marketing, came up with " Night". Who would dare deny the veracity of " Night"? Who would dare question the gravity of the Holocaust?

It's all so tedious. Winfrey and Wiesel have both gone far in selling their respective races ( Wiesel is Jewish) particular problems with every other race over recorded history. Oprah has parlayed her backround in the Jim Crow south to take advantage of the affirmative -action doors that the Civil Rights movement have opened. Only a black woman could have won such acclaim for the airing of rather mediocre or less subject matter covered from the perspective of less than competent people.

Oprah's success reminds of the 18th century Scotish philosopher David Hume's comment on hearing how sophisticated newly settled Africans in Jamaica were. After further personal investigation he made the comparison to the Jamaican accomplishment to a parrot that could speak a few words of english.

Give the devil his due. Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Feith and Bremer knew how to protect themselves and the corporate theives. Revelations of Iraq War related corporate abuses and suits to recover money because of undocumented expenses, missing funds and outright fraud are having a tough time being prosecuted. The question is what laws govern the actions of the Coalition Provisional Authority? It goes back to NSC 24. That is the National Security Council directive that was signed by Bush in 2003. Death Row Payday: More money in Delay

Clarence Ray Allen will be put to death at San Quentin State Prison on Jan. 17, 2006. That is the day after he turns 76. He has been on death row for 23 years. Allen is the poster boy for the present day legal system in America. He is proof that there is more money in delaying justice than in determining justice quickly. Without Allen, there would have one less inmate to generate jobs for the prison system for 23 years. Without Allen there would be less legal fees generated over 23 years for some lawyer. Without Allen there would be less demand for judges to review his appeals over 23 years. Does it sound too cynical? What's the alternative explanation? It does in fact take 23 years to carry out justice. I'd rather be cynical and follow the money.

The legal process has to be shortened. For example, whether the case be civil or criminal a trail should and could take no longer than a week. Two days for prosecution, two days for defense and one day for judgment. The only losers would be the attorneys in billable hours. Appeals would be limited to only one.

Delaying justice only rewards the guilty and the members of the legal system that aid and abet them.

It is required for leaders of multicultural group to spend money on high-end and low-end welfare to have a quasi culture. That all works till the money runs out. Hollywood has hit a new low in perverting formula movies. The formula in " Brokeback.." includes the classic western background and the age-old love triangle. The film is rated R. The big screen brings to this subject matter a kind of legitimacy that should not be viewed by impressionable minds. It's really pornography.

Approximately 5% of the US population has diabetes. Of the diagnosed diabetics ,95% have Type 2 diabetes. Unlike Type 1, Type 2 is almost always preventable and treatable with simple lifestyle adjustments of eating wholesome foods and exercising regularly. There are app. 45 million food stamp recipients in America. As many as 20% of Type 2 diabetics receive welfare assistance including food stamps. As many as 40% of welfare recipients are obese which can lead to diabetes. The cost of diabetes and related illnesses imperils the US health system. For the purpose of sustainable and effective healthcare of diabetics, food stamps should be redeemable only for fresh or frozen vegetables or meats. No junk foods , alcohol or tobacco sould be redeemed for food stamps. Welfare recipients should get exactly that. There should not be a choice allowed for unhealthy products.

Paul Bremer: Failed Iraq Administrator

Paul Bremer served as civilian head of the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq from May 2003 to June 2004. He has written a new book which straddles the fiction and non-fiction category. For example, he makes the point about his call for more US troops to pacify Iraq in the post-invasion. Compare that claim to his actual deed of disbanding the Iraqi Army who could have been used for such a purpose. He and former Undersecretary of Defense Douglas Feith ran Iraq after the invasion. Feith is under investigation for his part in presenting bogus and hyped intelligence that led to the Iraq war. Feith is also an award winning Zionist who like Bremer favor Israels security in the Middle East. Never underestimate what zealots will do or say to acheive their goals.This includes creating more chaos in Iraq so the US will have to extend its stay and also protect Israel from Iran and Syria.

What's Happening With AIPAC / Franklin / Israel Spy Case ?

What happened to the 2004 espionage case involing ex-pentagon Iran analyst Lawrence Franhklin? He pleaded guilty to espionage and agreed to cooperate. Cooperate with whom? Perhaps not to make it a larger case against AIPAC or Israel? Others that were involved included ex-employees of AIPAC, Steven Rosen and Keith Weissman. Also Noar Gilon and two other unidentified employees of the Israeli Embassy in Washington were included. Rosen and Weissman were charged with one count of conspiracy not espionage. Boy does the US go for the throat. Gilon and the other Israeli nationals who received classified information were not charged. AIPAC was not charged nor Israel. But top US prosecutor Paul McNulty who broke the case was immediately pulled off the case and promoted to the # 2 spot at the Dept. of Justice. Maybe the light treatment of AIPAC, Israel and the embassy employees played a part in his advancement.

So we are to believe that Rosen and Weissman gathered classified information about Iran for their own use and did nothing with it. Well if you believe that you probably believe Ariel Sharon was a man of peace.

Interestingly the legal mouthpiece for the ex-AIPAC employee Steven Rosen is Abbe Lowell. He is the same Abbe Lowell who is the very expensive lawyer for Jack Abramoff. Is there a connection between AIPAC and Abramoff? Abramoff is supposed to be broke. Abbe Lowell is very expensive. How can a former employee of AIPAC and a broke ,prison-bound lobbyist afford him? Lobbies & Congress are Consenting Adults

Tell me a member of the executive, legislative or judicial branch of government that you would trust with your security, wealth or life.

Talk of lobby reform after the Abramoff scandal revelations run up against the age-old problem of seperating consenting adults from their natural instincts. Whether the example be the prohibition of liguor, outlawing sodomy, criminalizing prostitution, using illegal drugs, etc. The problem becomes how to inforce the law. Simply, if lobby reform is to go anywhere then one thing has to happen. The power to sell favors of legislation has to be removed from the power brokers, i.e. take away their product. How? Whether it be education, power to declare war, environmental issues etc, each state or regional states are better able to self-regulate. And it will be cheaper too.

This is not fool-proof. All corruption will not disappear. But there will be less of it. Because it is more difficult to bribe/suborn a scattered group of politicians that number in the thousands than having only 525 members of congress all in one convenient place. Start dismantling the power in Washington through state propostions.
