Too Many People, Too Much Democracy

The current world wide population of humans is approximately 7 billion. There are 189 nations on the planet. All of those nations are run by governments that stay in power by catering to their constituents needs and to some degree their desire for more. More freedom. More food. More fun. Etc.In the late 1970's world wide fish stocks plummeted to 70-80% of former populations. Human population at that time was half of present tally-app. 3.5 billion.Similar plunging percentages hit wild life around the globe. Making room for hungry people who need housing necessarily equates to less habitat for flora and fauna. Fact is, we live on a zero sum planet. So now what? Democracy and liberal human- centric governing philosophies are not possible to the degree that got us to the current condition of lack of water, food stuffs and habitat for humanity. There is enough room and enough water and enough food if there were not so many people seeking them. The notion that 7 billion people are more valuable today than yesterday is preposterous. It's even more preposterous that adding billions more of people is a good idea. So? There necessarily will be less democracy and less people going forward.

White House And Ghosts Of Beheaded French Nobility

History reappears.Beheading in the Middle East and arrogant, king-like presidency in White House.Put the two closer together and maybe a beheaded president in effigy. What would one expect when trillions are spent making a population equal?French nobility spent the equivalent of trillions fluffing their nests.Who would have guessed that the street people who guillotined their leaders would spend so much money trying to fluff their own nests. Democracy unleashed by constraints of earned money - fiat money will do well enough- creates an african-american pickaninny president who resembles the doomed French peerage.Obama dispenses entitlements and enlarges wars that he vowed to stop.Who will pay for the trillions in debt. One beheaded president wont cover the bill. Maybe a start?Still comes up short. But it still won't be pretty when the bills come do.

Obamacare: Futile Democratic Equality Goals Displace Quality Service & Also Eliminate Service

Anytime a politician preaches equality in policies , you can expect quality policies to be abandoned. And so now we are informed by the Obama administration that millions will lose their old medical coverage. Why? Because they are "substandard".Never mind if one wants to keep the old cheaper policy. The Affordable Care Act mandates the covered individual apply for a more expensive policy. How? By using Healthcare.gov. Which doesn't work almost all of the time. This is democracy in a nutshell.Policies that are for all because we are all equal but in fact can't work because we are known by our differences.Time for a change.

Democracy : A Source Of Confusion

Once the democratic tenet "all are equal " is applied as per the law , then all situations become blurred and we need attorneys and judges and politicians to sort things out. That lasts as long as the wealth of the country can be redistributed. When the wealth runs out, so does the lie "all are equal".Then differences count.

Obama Is Giving Me Nightmares.

Last night I awoke from a nightmare. I was dreaming my classic chestnut tabby short hair pet cat was wanted for questioning by the San Francisco police and she also had a call waiting from Schwab & Co.to cure a margin call on a bad bet in gold. futures. What was happening? Could it be another four years of Obama that was the real problem? My cat doesn't deal in gold futures and certainly the S.F. police don't pick on that soft a target at this point. It had to be the impending inauguration this coming Monday. Obama will be sworn in again. And for another four years his supporters will be required to pretend to be stupid or demand more money to be bought off or in the case of his true believers just be themselves and be naturally stupid.

We have reached a point in America after 40 plus years of the implementation of the Civil Rights Act of 1965  that pretending to be stupid or actually being stupid has allowed affirmative action darkies to pass for normal and in Obama's case rise to the highest elected office in the land. What's next? Right now it's another four for the social worker attorney from Chicago. I think the only cure for the 1965 Civil Rights Act and zombies like Obama is a bankruptcy of the country. At least then we will have to ask a not stupid question of ourselves, " Can we afford equality made workable by pretending to be stupid?"

Mitt Romney: A Little Boy

Mitt Romney is out on the stump. He's trying to get elected president. His trite philosophy reminds me when I was eight years old and what I believed . Put aside his shop keepers affected urgency in selling his ideas, it's his beliefs that remind me of Peggy Lee's lyric " Is that all there is?"  When I was eight ,I too believed that if we bombed people enough we would somehow make the world a better place. I too believed that all Americans are equal. I too belived that enough money in the hands of consumers would insure the perpetual existence of our democracy. I also believed that Israel should exist and America owed a great debt to the friendly, honest and well meaning Zionists. I too belived that trees were meant for harvesting. And also that fish and animals are all here for our enjoyment or slaughter. I belived in god but gave up on the tooth fairy.

The question is , is the boy Mitt Romney a better choice than the affirmative action darky Barack Obama? For me, it's just another false choice .

Nervous Warren Buffett is Refreshing

The usually boring bean stacker Warren Buffett was on Charlie Rose's show last night. But he was animated and nervous. He fidgeted in his chair. It was refreshing to see this collector of certificates work up a sweat. He never had to sweat for his billions. He just collected others sweat in the form of equity certificates. How nervous was he? Well he was so nervous that he wrote an article in the op-ed section of the Wall Street Journal asking Congress to tax him and his mega wealthy friends more! Gee he must be nervous. He spoke of the miserable job members of government were doing in closing the huge budget gaps. He opined that a few extra bucks from him and his glutinous pals wouldn't be missed and could help. Not fooling me Warren. He is really worried that his whole stack of stock certificates might become worthless if the U.S. had a financial collapse. And then his whole hollow life would have come to naught by anyones calculations.

Poor Warren. He doesn't know that the real cause of the deficits is the failed philosophy of democracy. He kept on crowing about the power of "printing money"as the ultimate rescue of the United States and its democracy. The man's a bore.

Debt, Consumer, Democracy:Work for Money

The debt ceiling, spending cuts and raising taxes are in the news. That's putting it mildly. It's a simple problem in essence. People should work. People should get paid for work. When one person doesn't work then at least one other has to shoulder that undone work. Our economy is made up of app. 70% of consumers. In other words , effectively 70% of us consume more than they produce. That's not sustainable yet it has been going on for decades. How is it possible? Technology provides slave-like work . We ship the jobs we refuse to do to other countries and thereby enrich others. And debt covers the rest of the shortfall. We borrow as a nation so we don't have to work. America's currency is a reserve currency of the world. I.E. it underpins the worlds economy. Yet we borrow more than we produce. That's also unsustainable . So the reserve currency status is in jeopardy. Which means that if we lose that postion prices will rise. Which will further exacerbate the debt and lack of work issues.

In the future we will have to work more. At the least our economy will have to be 50% manufacturer and 50% consumer.

The Coming Austerity Votes by All Democracies Around the World

Greek Members of Parliament are voting today on another round of austerity measures. If successful , Greece will get billions more of funny money aid by the better- off democracies around the planet. If one wants to look at real austerity, then one should look up the per capita incomes of people living in Somalia, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Yemen, Palestine, most of Africa and most of Asia. The Greeks and other well-off Western democracies have no idea how far they can fall from the style of living that they prefer and grown accustomed to. But those same poor people mentioned above now live in reality whereas the Westerners are being forced to wake up from the unreal dream of the experiment of equality: no matter the cost. Democracy is too expensive and has never lasted.Tribes will outlast.

Deflation is in Our Future

Most people living today haven't experienced deflation. In fact most people have based their life on the opposite which is growth and inflation. Democratic governments derive their power from promising ever increasing growth, prosperity and entitlements-i.e. a political inflation. So what will be the end of western democracies? Deflation. Deflation on a scale not even seen in the Depression era, because we did not have the size of government then that we have now. Save your money and have some weapons for self defense handy.

Debt : Metaphor of Icarus

Call it gravity. Call it hubris. Call it the myth of Icarus. Call it debt. Call it human folly. In the end debt which impersonates security will fail as a support and a tool for growth. Just as the wax wings of Icarus melted because of too near a proximity to the sun and he plummeted to earth.

Greek Democracy Downfall

All democracies including Greece's current problem will teeter and totter then ultimately fail because they can't pay the interest on the fundamentally illogical and unworkable, expensive programs that grant equal results to all the unequal citizens.

Ever look in a microscope or telescope and see something like interest on money? You won't. It's a man-made alchemy and will go the way of another abomination that's called "political correctness".

Greece, Democracy & Standard & Poors

Standard & Poors reduced the credit rating of Greece's debt. Greece came up with the idea of democracy. They have never lived within their budget since that ancient time. They only deferred the bills. Now S&P is calling them out on their failed social scheme. Look for more riots but only during the work week. The sons and daughters of democracies cherish their weekends.

We need a return to a work standard not a political standard.

"Change" In Washington

"Change" has indeed come to Washington. Obama's electioneering mantra has been fufilled. But the change is in fact the reality it's gotten worse in government. The wars are expanding, the deficits are exploding and the Congress has only enhanced their control over personal lives. What's to be done? Boycott Washington is the plan. Vote libertarian.

Don't Worry

Don't worry America. Every politician is working for the individual. The politician will spend all the money that they can tax away from everyone else to make sure the individual is happy and by implication will vote for that politician. Only everyone else has to worry.

Democracy is failing in America like it failed in Greece some 2500 years ago. For starters vote libertarian.
