Political Brands: Got Shelf Space?

Political acronyms are every where.One has been around since 1890. It's called, DAR, which stands for Daughters Of The American Revolution.The members are descended from a person who fought in America's war with England.Any sons of American revolution organization? Not that I'm aware of.Maybe because many sons died in that struggle and the surviving sons would rather not bring up the subject again.Acronyms have since exploded onto the scene since white male suffrage in Maryland in 1816.That piece of legislation uncoupled ownership of property with the right to vote. One who thought about that at the time could see the handwriting on the wall.Obviously not many in Maryland thought it through. Because now the handwriting on the wall is graffiti in maybe 189 languages of people who all vote.Getting to the point, there are more political acronyms that represent voter brands than our government can easily or comfortably afford. Political brands have run out of shelf space. And pretty much every one has run out of patience with descendants of any one or any place.

Transgender, LGBT, GMO, FDA & Civil Rights

North Carolina in March of this year passed the "Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act".It "Requires transgender people ( and everyone else ) to use public restrooms according to the biological sex on the birth certificate."That's straight forward.But there are many people who for one reason or another can't play it straight. Transgender people would rather take a refined meat cleaver to their body and remove unwanted reminders of who they are. In addition the mutated tranny uses hormonal drugs to grow new bodily signs of the adopted sex.And guess what? He/she/it wants no questions asked nor any restrictions on he/she/its freedom of movement.Well....I object along with the North Carolina legislature and dare say many others in America. The LGBT community is in the forefront of backlash. That acronym covers other non straight people.Normal non straights have been around. But transgenders are new on the block. Smug LGBTs think they can grandfather T's as acceptable social entities.Don't think so. In fact it may cost the LGBs some political clout.Transgenders are freaks. Lawyers or politicians all of whom can't play it straight can't make transgenders acceptable by hocus pocus civil rights laws. Transgenders are properly regulated by the Food and Drug Administration.Considering the extensive alterations to transgenders in both surgical and drug related procedures they more resemble genetically modified organisms. And that's where the FDA should come in.Stupidity should be restricted/eradicated when public health both physical and mental are jeopardized. And that' where we are at.

Money And A Solution For Inequality

We are constantly reminded and sometimes sued to reinforce the laws that instruct all are equal. So with that dubious fact which ignores the fact that we are known by our differences,politicians and union organizers point out income distribution that is unequal. From there they leap out of their fox holes and charge any one and everyone who has more money. I have a thought .How about a simple cure. Make money equal. It would be easier than reasoning with people who have ideas that they never reasoned into. Then by extension the holders would be equal. For example. Instead of having currency in different denominations why not omit zeros. For example. A fiver would look the same as a tener and they both look like a Grover. A Grover means Grover Cleveland who's on the thousand dollar bill.All would have bragging rights of wealth equality. But some would have more non denominational currency? So? What about the obese? They are already fat.They don't need more fat. But aren't thy victims? No. Victims look like people in Sudan.Our "victims" are dress and trouser sizes that could hold three or more Sudanese.

Bill Clinton: Responds to American Experience: Clinton

Bill Clinton was in the news today.The former president was doing PR work on his own behalf after the dust up he received from "American Experience : Clinton."  It was a documentary that was aired Monday and Tuesday on PBS. Bill was trumpeting the accomplishments of his Clinton Global Initiative. He proclaimed, " Last year CGI shipped over 1,500,000 mosquito nets to Africa. With this aid young Africans will be protected from the malaria carrying mosquito." Reporters asked how CGI could outship the the more endowed Gates Foudation 100,000 mosquito nets? Clinton responded, " Our mosquito nets are the size of a band aid. And since they are still much larger than a typical mosquito it is comparable legally to Gates' nets."

Deficits Don't Matter?

The spending monkeys in Washington have been spending trillions trying to keep the economy afloat. They have been doing this since the Reagan years. Remember "deficits don't matter". That's partially true. If one is on the receiving side of deficit spending then deficits don't matter. But one who doesn't get the benefits but on the contrary has to payoff the deficits for years to come then deficits do indeed matter.Government employees, politicians, Wall St, banks, special interests foreign and domestic ,military-industrial-complex etc celebrate deficit spending. Most everyone else pays the tab.

Nothing lasts forever. When we do finally go broke it won't make much of a difference to most people unlike the privateers who have been gaming the system.

Don't Worry

Don't worry America. Every politician is working for the individual. The politician will spend all the money that they can tax away from everyone else to make sure the individual is happy and by implication will vote for that politician. Only everyone else has to worry.

Democracy is failing in America like it failed in Greece some 2500 years ago. For starters vote libertarian. 

Peace Negotiations Between Taliban, U.S. & Afghanistan

Last week representatives of the Taliban, U.S. and Afghani tribes had a round table discussion about the merits of a Taliban rule or a U.S. democracy as a government model for Afghanistan. Both the Taliban and the U.S. were trying to sell the Afghani rep on their own paradigm.

U.S. Rep. : Mr Afghani we want a democracy in Afghanistan.

Afghani Rep. : What will democracy bring and what will it cost me?

U.S. Rep. : First, we will stop bombing you. Second , democracy will bring law and order because we will send our lawyers to train your new lawyers. Thirdly we will show you how to share your wealth with people who don't work as hard as you do. The cost will be about 30% of your present daily income in cash to achieve both goals.

Afghani Rep. : I don't have cash. Can fruits and vegetables and my personal service be used in place of cash?

U.S. Rep. : No a democracy needs cash. We need the illusion of wealth and something that can be put in a sack in case the lawyers and pols have to leave town quickly and start a new democracy somewhere else.

Afghani Rep. : So I give real produce and get worthless paper in return.

Afghani Rep. : Mr. Taliban Rep. What do you want?

Taliban Rep. : All we ask is for you to let your hair grow, don't educate your women and for this we will cut you in on our drug business profits that lives off of the disenchantment of voters in democracies around the world.

Afghani Rep. : Where do I sign?

Bill & Hillary Clinton: Ozark Hillbilly Politicians

To paraphrase an old saying, " You can take the Clintons out of the Arkansas Ozarks but you can't take the Arkansas Ozarks out of the Clintons". When Bill was president, he behaved as an Ozark's Caligula. And the Oval Office is now a double entendres. And according to 2 recent books about Hillary, she knew most of what he was up to but didn't care and actually helped herself to some of the abuses of presidential power.

Well according to recent The New York Times/CBS News poll , that history has been translated into Hillary having a higher unfavorable rating than a favorable one by voters, i.e. 42% vs 38% respectively. Hill-Billy are a metaphor for the Ozark hillbilly life style stereotype. The hillbillys of the Ozarks are typically depicted living in shantys with garbage, furniture, broken farm equipment strewn across the property. Hill-Billy don't physically live like that, but their personal lives resemble that untidy, careless and shameless attitude of the hillbilly.
