San Francisco stupidvisor Chris Daly sponsored Propostion H. H was supposed to refer to handguns which it was to ban. But it also could stand for the virtual handjob for the gun-control crowd as a seconadry objective.
Never mind the Bill of Rights or the California State law regarding handguns that supercedes local ordinances. This California law has been challenged before but it prevailed and the moron Daly knew it. But as with most pols the opportunity to appear to be caring and concerned comes before probity of action.
But S.F. Superior Court Judge James Warren agreed with the National Rifle Association. Simply California Stata law was the only guiding authority. Incidentally he noted that law-abiding citizens should have weapons if they want because they are the first line of defense if they are personally attacked.
There was considerable time and money spent in this foolish act by Daly. Daly should be recalled and/or sued for damages to the City for his mischief.
