Arizona Governor Napolitano: Mexican Proconsul

Governor Janet Napolitano just vetoed her 115th bill. The legislature is republican controlled and not one veto has been overturned. This is suspicious. This bill like many others that she has vetoed dealt with the illegal immigrant infestation. In the past she has vetoed : English as the official state language, sanctions on employers for hiring illegals, stopping aid and services to illegals, arresting illegals for tresspass and many others. She should be bitch-slapped, but the fact that not one veto was overturned is suspicious. Are the republicans covering for business ' appetite for cheap labor?

Vicente Fox must view her as a Mexican proconsul. How do we get people like her and the many others like her? She is another of Kennedy's political children from the Civil Rights era. Teddy in particular pushed The Nationality and Immigration Act of 1965. This effectively put most of the U.S. immigration policy into the hands of immigrants legal or illegal and their lawyers. With that new turn came the challenge for politicians to maintain their control. So they sell out to the new immigrants because they know the competition will do the same.

Napolitano and other pols like her represent the citizens of America and also represent and fight for illegal immigrant rights that compromise the priveledge of U.S. citizenship. They have become illegal themselves.
