Zuckerberg- Facebook Moon Shot

It's been less than a week since Facebook's blowout quarter. Chief Executive Officer and Founder Mark Zuckerberg hasn't slept well since then. His problem is "What will I do next?".How about a direct world wide message to announce his plans for mankind? The technology exists. Jeff Bezos of Amazon has Blue Origin which will send and return space craft to the moon. Elon Musk of Tesla has SpaceX which can do similar feats.Mark could steal the spotlight from both those bigger than life moguls by literally going over their heads with a holographic moon shot. How about a ten minute sneak preview of Mark's vision of the future and where we might fit in projected on the next full moon? Zuckerberg could be costumed as the good shepherd. Like Jesus who was also Jewish Mark could communicate directly with his flock. It would be cost effective in terms of audience reach. It would expose virtual reality Oculus users to a shock of reality while not damaging sales. The stunt would cover two distinct markets.The promise of his bar mitzvah would be fulfilled and his mother would be proud.Check your calendar. Mark's face on the moon is coming with the next full moon shot.

A Prayer For World Health Day: Please Send An Asteroid

Praying for an asteroid to hit China and bounce into India could be good for the health of the world.Between them that would marginalize over 2 billion people.It would be like making the 7/10 in bowling or a hole-in-one but Jesus could do it.He didn't mention birth control while on the planet but this could be a catch up move.Considering the plummeting flora and fauna and the past extinctions maybe the only hope is the long shot!

Jesus Was Jewish

Jesus was born a Jew. He had a bar mitzvah which made him a "son of divine law". That along with his Jewish mothers brow beating about achieving success at any cost  were all the ingredients for him to make his way in the world. And the rest is history. He then went on to claim to be the son of god. Could it have been any other way? I mean a Jew claiming to be the son of god? I remember the hippies at the University of California in Berkeley. Many of the more righteous and also the more smelly were also Jewish. They claimed to know the truth of things and only through their guidance people would be freed from what bothers them. They were wrong also.

Jesus Talks To The Pope

Jesus:  Pope Benedict, this is your lord speaking.

Pope:  Did you get an appointment?

Jesus:  Since when did I need an appointment? Don't bother to answer the rhetorical question.

Pope:  Please cut to a short message. I'm on a recruiting mission in Africa and I'm tired.

Jesus:  I want to clarify my message and your mission. When I commisioned the original apostles to help the poor and sick I didn't say to PERPETUATE the poor and sick.

Pope:  Say what?

Jesus:  Condoms are the way to go. It's a humane way to mitigate the growth of the poor and sick.

Pope:  Well it's this way now. When you were last here there was only a few of your followers. Now the church has grown and we need more of poor and sick people to spread amongst the new gullable recruits. I.E. we need more of the poor and sick to open a yawning gap of people to make this church, which has become a quasi financial derivative incarnation of your teachings to survive. I want swarms of starving and sickly and mad people behind me who have nothing to lose so that I can march on the capitols of the world and reestablish a kind of new shoddy type of Roman Empire based on the base motivations of mankind.

Jesus:  Now I finally see what Satan was talking about.

Senator Joe Lieberman Offers To Be Vice-President

Senator Joe Lieberman offered to be the veep for either McCain or Obama. Obama and McCain spokesman said, off-the- record, that the candidates reponded with a quick "NO". Because their own private polls indicated that Lieberman would be the voters first choice to be a human sacrifice in the interest of world peace.

Hell if they can crucify Jesus then what keeps Lieberman alive?

The Stuff Of Legends And Religions

Next month will be the 39th anniversary of the 1968 Democratic National Convention that was held in Chicago. The convention largely represented the birth and strength of the anti-war movement in America. In it's wake, it brought along other cultural changes and movements that would change the U.S. forever. These included the environmental movement and American-style socialism with expected and unexpected applications of the newly passed Civil Rights legislation.

The poster group for the counter-culture was the Chicago 8 later to become the Chicago 7 when Black Panther Bobby Seale had a separate trial. The Group was primarily made up of activist, socialist/communist Jews. The leader was Jerry Rubin. The message was anti-war, anti-establishment, anti-business, anti-critical thinking and some would add anti-personal hygiene. Despite the mostly unsustainable agenda, the group and others did change the course and culture of America. Subsequently President Nixon did stop the Draft and other politicians were elected to office as anti-war representatives.

So with some clever editors in a hundred years from now, could Mayor Daly become a kind of Roman governor like Pontius Pilate and the scene of the riot at Lincoln Park become an Insurrection On The Mount Historical Landmark? Could the Chicago seven 7 be like the 12 Apostles? Could Jerry Rubin be a more modern anti-establishment Jesus? Is this the way the Catholic Church stumbled into existance?
