Kamala Harris: Best of What Breed?

Today Marisa Lagos, a staff [ infection] writer for  the San Francisco Chronicle was gushing about the Kamala Harris victory. Harris became the "first African American, the first Indian American  and the first woman to be elected to state attorney general". Wait a minute. In Lagos' rush to celebrate multiculturism and biodiversity she ran over some tripping facts. Harris cannot simultaneously be the first African American  and first Indian American. Kamala necessarily is a new sport on the  frivolous monkey, political,  evolution tree. Lagos should have more correctly described K.H. as the first African/Indian American to to be elected....

Welcome to the new age of multi-hyphenated Americans. Yes folks it's vomit point politics.

P.S. Kamala Harris immediately went on the record. She would choose which politically correct issues she would defend. And she would fight politically incorrect issues. No matter what the voter has passed or turned down. I.E. same sex marriage is her choice. So much for blind, unbiased justice. Harris is new poster face for arrogance of liberal left.

P.P.S. One can depend on the Chronicle and its assorted multicultural writers to keep count of the races and their infinite combinations as they triumph on the political scoreboard. Liberals are more racist oriented than most. What does race have to do with competence?

Flooding Follows The Human

The old world in the east has lost most of its trees . By comparison the new world in the west still has a plentiful amount. The reason for the difference, according to anthropoligists, is that man settled in the east before migrating to the west. And so the trees were cut and the rivers were channelled and diverted. The recent flooding in China, Burma, India and Southeast Asia are the results of denuded land and the flood plains of rivers being inhabited with surplus people.

Our own Midwest is now experincing the same dynamic. The ongoing channelling of the Mississippi River , draining of wetlands , clearing of the Great Plains of natural grasses for crops and housing developments in flood plains have all contrbuted to the "500 year floods". The scourge of surplus humanity leaves its footprint in ever closer and closer high water marks.

Too, too many people.

U.S. Apology To American Indians & Iraq War

Born-again U.S. Senator Sam Brownback from Kansas said yesterday, " For too much of our history, federal tribal relations have been marked by broken treaties, mistreatment and dishonorable treaties". He could have been talking about the Iraq War. But he wasn't .He was talking about a Senate bill on Indian affairs that includes an apology to native Americans.

Brownback still supports the war in Iraq inspite of the facts that show Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attack , the absence of WMD and the expose of the bogus intelligence that led to the invasion. So what's Brownback's apology and other the Senator's words worth? He and some others have no true sorrow or empathy for people who are unjustly treated.
